Moninger has officialy retired after 17 years pro and 275 pro wins.
Chris Horner and Fast Freddy to Rock Racing!!! just a well founded rumor. You might have to wait till interbike Las Vegas to find out.

The rumor goes that Contador has signed for Astana.
And I think tomorrow you will see on the news that Johan Bruyneel will be Astana's new mangers taking Alberto with him |

there goes my theory that "he's not that stupid that he'll sign for Astana" flying out the window...
then again, I said that quite a while ago and it's been obvious he's going there for a few weeks now
from now on, he might as well just ride while holding up a sign saying "I'm doped. shoot me"

Wow, I mean a foreigner going to Euskaltel is a big thing but an Aussie...Davis? However it will do them good as they finally got a top sprinter now, Fernandez and Galdos are decent sprinters but Davis is atleast 1 class above them

He has lived in the area for a very long time, so that might explain it. |

Victor Hugo Peña has signed for Barloworld
David Moncutié has renewed his contract with Cofidis
Ivan Parra will not have his contract (with Cofidis) renewed, though, despite being 13th in this year's Giro. |

Parra wasn't renewed because he's potentially another Moreni case. It's not official though, but sometimes the reasons not to renew a contract are not only based on a lack of results. |

that would be interesting. last year, Riis' argument for not offering him a new contract was that "he didn't show progression". a few days later, Vandborg almost got a medal at the worlds ITT. then Riis went back and offered him a deal.
Vandborg told him to take a running jump.
so this is "interesting", at the very least
