Even though I didn't get my hard goal, 5 breaks and 2 attacks in the last kilometres is good and two Top 10 finishes are on the low side. The team just send the wrong man in the break with Hägg and that's the only annoying thing.
Kaha didn't have a proper leadout here and I hope he will do better with Renshaw helping in TDU

Nice race in Gabon, im happy to asking for a wildcard here. The team worled well, maybe i just need to shake my head why i didnt send a full 8-man squad for chasing the breakawys. All and all a nice race with more then nice reports |

Suck it: Honksiz, Boem, Murphy, Kaisen, Day, Dion, Di Corrado, Graziato, Forster, Ershov, Coledan and Jarrier and Novo! You were all just beaten by a neo-pro 18yo girl in her first race

Great first race report, mvhoogdalem. I'll have to ask you more often
Belkin.. Lots of fails here. It seems we never wanted a mass sprint, despite having a very good train. Slagter winning a stage saved the race for us, though Riquelme's top 10 is nice as well. It's not what I hoped, but I can't complain either.
Verboven riding good, but missing his peak result. Hopefully he's saving that for TDU
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Because they are gentlemans, not like the rest of the riders |

I'd happily give you a GT with 21 breakaway victories. |

Well, I think that's mostly because a big number of teams only sent 6 riders, it's harder to control a race that way. Plus NetApp, MTN and Champion System (the leading guys for most of the race) don't really have the team to ride a week in a row.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Just catching up with the great reports by mvhoogdalem after a busy 2 days IRL.
Managed to miss all the excitement with Cofidis riders in the break.
Geslin soooo close to a stage win, but I am very happy with 2 2nd places and 2nd in KOM.

And of course, Hagg is the first leader in the rider rankings. Team Sky is already leading the team rankings though, who will stop them this season?
Compared to last year, it was less then Brouwer/Belkin, but there are similarities. Stage 1 winner keeps the lead until the end. Seven different winners from 7 different teams. But some very good results from the EPIC riders here. One of them will definitely win a big race this year

Actually I think I'll wait with that, with the punishments it might be embarassing for some people

Can someone please explain to me how Cyanide managed to reintroduce the breakaway bug after getting rid of it? Muppets.
You mean sprinters robbed Novo of some points.

Right now I don't give a flying f**k about breakaway bugs
Brilliant to get a stage win to finish orf as well as Rudy being cool-headed enough to realize he had room to cheer and still score the same amount of points by placing himself just right
Stage, GC and youth win for Hägg surely is what I was referring to when I said that I would like him to race here as I had a feeling teh profiles would suit him...
Also I really don't see any reason to say that NetApp should have chased harder. They had no riders for the finales so everything really should be about securing the GC and they did that perfectly by reeling in the breakers just enough and leavin it to teh teams with stage favourites to do the rest. The blame should IMO mainly go to Team Sky who had big names that didn't get to outlive their potential. At least Movistar tried on several occasions.

I agree with that. If you send such leaders like Sky did you should have sent an 8man squad to help them. I hope that the rest of the races will have more domestiques for the big names...
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Bad News: The PCM14 Database in Atlantius's post is the Season 1 Part 3 one for me, so I can't play it until this is fixed.
What is the file name? That post have never had a link to the Season 1 Part 3 DB in it so it sounds very weird...
Anyway here's the link again: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ppgieybi3r0...4.cdb?dl=0
file name is EPIC_2.1_PCM14.cdb but content keeps being from EPIC_1.3_PCM14.cdb. saved in dropbox and download from dropbox keeps giving me the same result
