i feel really sorry for Vino, he looked in bad shape after his problem,
it also didn't help that them stupid team cars stopped and didn't help, even though they helped Valverde, Kloden, Sastre etc.
i hope he can still do well but maybe a podium is more of a realistic target now

Ive seen the highlights and at last I can comment, great stage!
It had it all, crashes, breaks, a late British attack, an Italian rider, and an Astana rider being a bad loser - Colom.
In a interview Colom said that 2 years ago Vinokourov waited from some spanish rider in the Vuelta, but noone else helped Vino today. Pathetic.
What ever happened to Super Astana anyway? Dominating the Dauphine and all but 2 dont make it home in the pack.

because they all but two dropped back for Vino
and yes Colom's remark was pathetic |

Yes they all dropped back for Vino, but they did then drop back further and didnt really gain much.

they murdered themselves to get Vino back, that's why they fell beck...and ended up even losing time.
Vino by himself, though gained time on the peloton despite being injured from the crash... |

Interesting fact: 1/3 of the TDF riders are riding their first TDF. |

yes quite interesting that, obviously managers are now keen on giving riders experience whilst they are young (obviously some may not be very young)
maybe, hoping slightly that one of them will do a Schleck |

The reason hushovd got dropped that early was beacuse he have some trouble with his back. appearently something happend with it when he was getting on his bike after a pissing stop |

Actually it happened at that point, LK. When he got off his bike his back said a "wrong" / bad sound, and he might leave TdF tomorrow. |

add to that Bennati's rib, Freire's cyst, McEwen's crash, and soon we'll have no sprinters in good form. |

I guess its Zabel v Boonen for green then, and Zabel tends to fade a lot at the end of the sprint, so if he survives the mountains, Boonen looks set to win the green jersey.

definatley Zabel if Freire and McEwen drop out, but i doubt that McEwen will as he always fights on
if McEwen does stay in then he's my bet for the green |
