I turned on my tv and I saw a peleton, and I thought "wtf, wasn't it a ITT today?".
Then I remembered that Sporza broadcast the Belgiumtour first.
What is the top 5 now? |

Pirazzi just didn't see the point of riding on a day when he wasn't allowed to attack.

other funny story from today's MTT:
Manuel Belletti had a flat tyre, but there were no wheels on the team car behind him. He had to wait 9 minutes for a wheel change, he will probably end outside timelimit due to this fact. |

If I'm not mistaken the commisairs can overturn being outside the time limit if they think there is a valid reason. I wouldn't be surprised if they accept this.

Belletti´s problem makes the time from M. Belkov even more strange +12:18. Maybe had same problem.

Pirazzi was apparently told the wrong starting time by his team. Imagine how pissed he will be if he misses the time limit

Apparently problems to his shifting system, and no team car. he did the whole climb on the same gear. |

Will be interesting to see how Santambrogio goes here, considering the conspiracy theories and all.
Can't see anything other than a big Nibali win today.

Can I just take a moment to point out how huge that result is for Gastauer? Even if he is knowcked out of the top 10, to beat that many great riders is impressive.
