The main aim today was to keep Gary Sutton in the top ten and that was achieved very easily once the break went away so the guys have kept some of there energy stores for tomorrow

PCM rulezz
Only to states to go and Sutton still in top 10, I'm sure he can hold that Wink
Winners never quit, quitters never win.

It's difficult not to be happy when you're surrounded by Belgians. - Mark Cavendish

THE RACE

SPRINT - De Negri/Farnese Vini

SPRINT - Ojavee/Champion System

i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc489/sutty68/STORY%20SYMBOLS/TOGO-100KM.jpg

Five riders are currently well ahead of an uninterested field. The riders in question are Ojavee/Champion System, Pirazzi/Colnago CSF, De Negri/Farnese Vini, Fuchs/Team NSP and Niermann/Rabobank. The lead is 6m 54s

i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc489/sutty68/011-LE%20TOUR%20DE%20LANGKAWI/011-9-PIC1_zpsbce6dec8.jpg

SPRINT - Fuchs/Team NSP

i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc489/sutty68/STORY%20SYMBOLS/TOGO-80KM.jpg

The five leaders are still working very well together and keeping a steady pace going

i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc489/sutty68/STORY%20SYMBOLS/TOGO-60KM.jpg

Still no reaction has come from the peleton, so the five leaders just continue to tap out a nice rhythm

i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc489/sutty68/STORY%20SYMBOLS/TOGO-40KM.jpg

The way the race seems to be unfolding, it looks like this break is going to last right until the end because there has been no change in the gap for the last twenty kilometres

With some pace finally coming from the pack the gap has been reduced by a minute, but have they left it too late because the leaders are still working very hard at the front of the race

Another decent day for the guys today, they all finished safely in the pack without wasting any energy and Gary maintained hid tenth place on the GC

PCM rulezz
1 day to go and the 10th place is a fact. I hope to see some TT1 action in the last stage Wink.
Winners never quit, quitters never win.

It's difficult not to be happy when you're surrounded by Belgians. - Mark Cavendish

sutty68
PCM rulezz - I have nearly two minutes on the guy in 11th place so i would assume i am going to get that top ten place Smile

Ian Butler
Top 10 is a great achievement here. I can't see him losing it anymore, but I wont' congratulate you until it's over Pfft

sutty68
Ian Butler - Only one stage remains between me and that top ten finish Wink

FreitasPCM
One more stage and that 10th place is yours, a good season start result. Smile (not sure if this was Sutty's first race, can't remember, sorry Pfft )

sutty68
FreitasPCM - I have ridden the Valley of the sun Stage Race in America and the Perfs Pedal Race in Britain but this will surely be my best performance up to now Wink

Alakagom
Brilliant start to the season indeed. Well done Smile

My message to the guys today is simple, protect Gary and stay with him if he needs you and make sure he gets that top ten finish on the GC

THE RACE

i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc489/sutty68/STORY%20SYMBOLS/TOGO-80KM.jpg

Three riders are trying to get clear to form the first break of the day

i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc489/sutty68/STORY%20SYMBOLS/TOGO-60KM.jpg

A group of thirteen riders eventually got away and have already got an advantage of 5m 18s, the most dangerous of these riders on the General Classification is Kruijswijk/Rabobank who is in twenty sixth place at 12m 33s
