So, Chelsea draw 0-0 with Stoke. I watched the final 10 minutes of the match, and I think Chelsea didn't play well. Some don't know what to do with the ball, and when they try to advance with it, they don't have support from another player, leading to some bad passes or losing the ball. Still some work to do. And I think Torres should have stayed in Liverpool.
That's what you get, when you only watch 10 minutes of the game. Before that, there were three situations, where referee could have given a penalty on Stokes goal. Only players, who didn't impressed me from starting 11 probably were wingers Malouda and Kalou. So don't make silly statements based only on last 10 minutes.
The only penalty option was the tackle on Lanpard. Torres did not deserve any penalty kick. Although I do think Torres played much better with Agee nice runs and crosses.

torres looked really good at some points and could be on for a good season IMO but Kalou and Malouda were awful but how fun was it to watch AVB kick every ball his players kicked entertainment there |

I switched it on with 4:1, now it`s 7:2.
Epic game and it`s not like Arsenal had no chance. It`s like 25:25 shots or so, Manu is just shooting better.
Edit: Let`s make it 8:2

Are they playing waterpolo instead of football?
North London teams seem to be struggling to face Manchester opposition lately.

Manchester > London - at least on the pitch.
Some truly enjoyable matches if you're not a Tottenham or Arsenal fan |

My bad is that i am. A gunner for life.
I really hope Wenger regains his sanity again before the transfer deadline will past, or this season will be a tragedy indeed.

My favourite player Merte (per Mertesacker), one of the nicest guys you can met in professional football, is probably going to Arsenal, think i need to follow the premier league a bit more now Hope that task is not to big for him...he had a bad last year, playing a full season with pain and really didnt have any good game, this season so far he is really strong again. |

This is great, i hav been dreaming maybe three years now about Mertesacker in Arsenal and now it is a reality
Also South-Korean captain Yeoung and Andre Santos (brazilian LB) are coming.

Good signings, but not good enough. Why are they strengthening theyre defence when obviously they need at least one very strong or maybe two attacking midfielders to replace both Fabregas and Nasri. |

Arsenal signed Gervinho, who is very good in my eyes and still speculations about Hazard or M'Villa (french national team midfielder).
You know Arsenal will never be the team to sign top players for 40mil. or so. And i am glad that these two fockers, especially "Cash"mir Nasri are gone, when they are not loyal.
But Wenger has probably gone little bit crazy in recent years, sometimes i dont get it.
Edit: And defence needed strenghtening a lot, Vermalen,Mertesacker starters, then Djorou and Koscielny reserves, Squilaci is abyssmal player.

I heard Clint Dempsey might be coming to Arsenal, so that could also strengthen their squad.

It may strengthen their squad, but it is still not the kind of players, who are securing them points, titles etc.
The difference between Arsenal and the other favourites, are that Arsenal sells before buying, and not the other way around. They've sold their, perhaps, best midfielders and nothing really metionable the other way around.
To mee, it seems a bit unambitious, if you want to be in the championship-duels, not to secure yourself having a stronger squad, than the one, Arsenal can manage.
I don't know, if they haven't got the economical ressources, but I would wonder if that's the reason. If they're so limited economically, it's a major problem.
And yes, I know, their transfer-strategi is different, but still.

Couldn`t agree more. I would have loved to keep him seeing playing for Bremen of course. But probably the best solution for everybody.
And luckily he is going to my most favourite team in the Premier League. |
