@welwyn - Thanks, it was hard.
Our Rund um Köln squad leader is Christian Bahr, who will try to get over the cobbles better than the other sprinters. Our second option is Nick, who will become our leader if the cobbles are too demanding for Bahr. Our only debutant here is Erik van den Meer.
*** Bahr, Trentin, Hayman
** Phinney, Sabatini, Petit
* Ciolek, Chicchi, Hunt
This years edition is ca. 200km long, and has two short cobbled sections to shake things a bit up. Who will be the winner?
The daily break formed pretty early in this race, containing 6 riders, with the biggest names being Barta, Rowe and Geniez. They quickly built up a nice lead of 6 minutes. This gap didn't really decreased until the pack hit the first cobbled section.
But then, on these hard cobbles, BMC and Lotto decided to make the pace a lot harder, and tried to reel in the break. The lead of the break decreased incredibly fast, and the pack caught them at the 20km roadsign. The sprint preparations started, and we tried to get Bahr to Van der Valde's wheel, and lead him out. The plan worked out perfectly, but...
... there was someone, who was a bit faster in the last meters! It was the italian youngster, Matteo Trentin, who got the win in this fantastic race! What a great win for him, edging Bahr out on the line!

Nick got a top 10. I at least hoped Bahr to win. |

Thanks for the comments guys, but now I'd ask for your help. De Brabantse Pijl stage is not working for me, it doesn't load in, just crashes after the squad screen. I tried to replace it with another stage, but it crashed too. Now, I'll try to skip a day with Lachi's guide. I hope that it'll work. If you have some other ideas, it'd be great. Thanks in advance! |

Our squad here is quite weak (sorry, guys ), so we'll try to get a man into the break, and aim for a good result with Solodovnikov.
*** Gilbert, Voeckler, Sánchez
** Sagan, Gasparotto, Cancellara
* EBH, Gerrans, Valverde
Cauberg. As simple as that.
In this race the pace was quite slow until the first attacks, despite Liquigas trying. The 4-men break even got a gap of 10minutes (our riders couldn't make it into it). Liquigas was very consistent with the pace-making sign of Sagan feeling good? (or just bluffing)
At around the 20km mark, Peter Sagan attacks! He finds the others a bit surprised, and quickly gets a half minute lead. The chasing group (consisting of 28 riders, unfortunately without Solodovnikov) wasn't too organised, and didn't really chase, so Sagan kept his lead until the final kms, where the inredibly steep Cauberg started.
As the Cauberg started, Sagan was still upfront, but the pack closed in a bit, with the help of Van Avarmaet, who was leading out Philippe Gilbert. Gilbert started to sprint and left the others, and closed on Sagan quickly. Will he make it?
No, it's Sagan holding out on the line, and winning the AGR! He soloed home from 20kms! Great ride by him! Gilbert takes the 3rd, and Valverde sprints to the 3rd. Solodovnikov finishes 30th.

@fcancellara - I like Sagan too, but the Spiders more.
@TMM - I hope it won't be the same in your fantasy season.
Giro del Trentino Preview
Trentino will be the entry race of one of our 3 climbing specialists, Jack Wiles, who will be there to gain form, part of his Giro preparation. He'll test his legs in the mountain, trying to follow the others. He has basically no help, so he'll be on his own. The TTT also won't play in our hands, we have no great TTers, and we're completely out of form.
Startlist:
GC
*** Nibali, Rolland, Pozzovivo
** Kreuziger, Vanendert, De Gendt
* Henao, Wiles, Menchov
Sprints
No sprints this time.

Note: Sorry for the short report, I didn't have too many experiences with TTTs, and didn't do screenshots of the better teams. Sorry guys, hope you still enjoy the story.
@sutty - Thanks, those were 2 great races for us.
Giro del Trentino Stage 1
The TTT. We are surely going to lose a ton of time, with our bad, out of form time-trialers. Let's see how we did.
Here is our team, trying to get a result. Well we didn't get anything good out of it, finishing dead last, 1'40 down RadioShack.
Overall, the TTT didn't bring too many big gaps (except for us), so the race is still open, and will be settled in the mountains. (Wiles can't wait for them )

Wiles will surely test his legs. There's nothing to lose.
