Vichot has played this well. Looks very good for him at the moment.

Vichot's got it. He timed his attack well.

Sky is going to have to pick one of the riders, and judging by the chatter coming from the Sky camp its going to be Brad |

I'm not so sure. Wiggins might be the big favorite at this point but he's not a guarantee as sure as Cav's 3-4 stage wins. And Cav needs support of his team because I don't see the others chasing breakaways knowing Cavendish is going to beat all their sprinters at the finish line.

But arent Siuotsou, Rogers and Porte so relatively good en differents terrains that you could expect that they were able to help chase breakaways (maybe the last 40 kilometers) AND support Wiggo in the mountains? |

It is possible, but what I suggest they do is have Boassan Hagen as a lead out man for Cav where Boassan Hagen can latch onto another train (like Garmin perhaps) and just launch his lead out when Farrar's lead out launches. Idk something like that. But they need to pick one to focus on and not waste everyones energy on flat stages if they want to help Wiggo |

Schleck says “If I get to the foot of the Joux Plane near the front and without the same problems that I had today then I’ll try to stay with the best," but for some reason i have a hard time believing this
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring.

Wtf, looking at the Eurosport program, they are broadcasting the stage tomorrow from 13:00 till 14:45(CET). Does the stage start early or are they just showing the middle of the stage? Seems weird.

Yeah, they are showing French Open from 14:45. On the other hand, Eurosport 2 is showing Beach Football from 15-18, but I guess that's more important than Dauphine to them. |

The stage starts at 10:00 and ends at approximately 14:42.

Taaramae finished 20 minutes behind Vichot, I hope he's just taking it easy and theres nothing wrong.

I'm enjoying the hilarity of this tough, a stupidly bad designed Dauphiné stage is being better than the first 19 stages of the Giro put together.
... well, that's nice to know now that I haven't been able to watch any of the stages |

Dauphiné is meant to be a preparation race for the TdF, Only simmilarity is a long TT and Grand Colombier.
I hope someone tests his legs today (VdB, Evans, Nibali or even Brajkovic) so we can finally see some action. |

I hope Evans takes some time back, makes it less one-sided. |

The Dauphiné has always been more exciting than the Tour de France the last few years, since most contenders actually dare to attack in this race. Today is gonna be a good stage.
