Agree. If was blessed with the skill of cycing equal to the Schlecks and was in the same position as them, I would have had a few short but strong attacks in the final 3km.

Lotto were too strong for tactics here... unlike Leopard in the cobbles, they kept it tight.
No sure what Schlecks though they were going to do, they confuse Gilbert with Contador at the tour!
What a rider though Phillipe Gilbert, just fantastic!

Hmmm weird tactics by the Schlecks but they probably just didn't have the legs (Andy for sure)... I guess we'll see in the interviews why they didn't attack. |

Absolutely bloody imperious!
A great mental display from him to ride like that with the 2 Schlecks and a crappy ride from them. I can only imagine Frank didn't have the legs because he must know he's a crappy sprinter. |
