You also could mix stages of other races. So you could take some flat or hilly stages of TdF, Giro or Vuelta variants and create your own small races` variants. Just pick similar stages. So 4 flat and 1 hilly for Andalucia for example. Wouldn`t be quite weird to have 3 mountain finishes in these races.

Just a remark, but in the PCMDaily DB, JC Peraud (OLO) has 74 in downhill.
However, as seen the day b4 yesterday in the Vuelta, and confirmed by his team manager, JC Peraud can't ride downhill |

Is there a way to choose what variants will be active in this DB ?
I say this because some of the variants that are made are too hard where say only 40 riders even finish the race ! (and for me this ruins the gameplay.) I would really like the PCMpack though because otherwise it is awesome !
Also I don't have any of the fancy editors I see people talknig about - do I need one of these to change the options ofr variants ? Thanks.

You can easily change what variants you want by editing the .rules-files in CM_Stages/variants. All you need is Notepad.
This has to be done before starting the career, though. |
