38 I think. Many become truely useless before they retire. Bettini is the only guy I've so far seen to have had any real use before he retires. |

Boogerd
For those who forgot, Boogerd finished 9th in the Individual Pro Tour Classement in his last season. He won both the Amstel Gold Race and Fleche Wallone and also took 3rd in Giro di Lombardia.
Not bad for an old guy

Hmm, so quite some time then. To bad, I doubt he's worth it (to keep) and I wanted to have him as a Sports Manager just for fun :-p

Boogerd did only get 1 round of stat decreases though. If Boogerd was 5 years younger, he wouldnt be coming 9th in the ProTour in his final season.

This looks almost like the right place for my question. I'm sure it feels obvious to those who has been through a whole season before.....Anyway, will we be given the database/an overview of stats before the transfer season?
This thread, https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=11438 looked like a very useful thread for the transfer season last season, and it would be nice if something similar shows up before the transfers of this season, that will make it easier for us newbies to get an overview over the riders. |

Okay I seem to recall that for continental teams, there is a salary cap of 2.5 million, so if for example my teams budget for this season is above 2.5 million that "extra" money can be used for buying riders from other teams directly during the Transfer Season, while the original 2.5 mil is used towards the riders contracts?
Hopefully I haven't missed anything that explains all of this.

THats right valverde, the "extra" can be used for training aswell (after transfer season), and for wildcards

I assume jerseys already have been added to the database? I suddenly realised that I had an updated jersey of my team (because of a sponsor issue). I submitted the jersey to the Shirt Database now. Is it possible to change the shirt now, or is it to late?

It's possible to do it now I belive ;-) I bet that adding jerseys to the db hasn't been done yet. So no worries, iirc some managers (Waghlon) didn't fix their jersey's before after the transfer season last year?

I haven't added my jersey yet (i just realized), so i assume it is OK. Is it OK when i submit it even though AF made it? |

@jack888:
Would be ok but you have to figure out AFs user ID so he will be credited that he made that shirt
I have another question:
Would it be possible to duplicate my shirt https://www.pcmdai...p;team=250 to the Man-Game 2012 Shirt Database?
Thank you in advance

Nothings been done on the jersey front, I wont be asking for those files until after the transfer season.
Jersey wise, just stick it in the Shirts DB. If that then means you have more than 1 jersey in there, PM SN-ManGame and point out which one.
Likewise, if you do wish to send any graphics files now, i.e. armwarmers/legwarmers etc - then PM SN-ManGame. And if you are sending files they should be named: mg12_XXX_graphic.tga
Where XXX is your team's 3 letter acronym, and graphic changes depending on what specific file it is.

Transfers with 3 teams at the same time involved aren't allowed, right?
Example:
Team A trades Rider XYZ to Team B
Team B gives Team C 100.000.000€
Team C trades rider ZYX to Team A

Transfers such as that are not allowed, and you should let me know if somebody tries to get you to be involved in that.
Simply giving another team money for nothing is not allowed.
Also giving a rider to another team for nothing in return is unlikely to be allowed, depending on circumstances.

I could actually see a situation where it could be benefical (spelling?) to give away a rider, if he got a large wage and it's the only way for you to get rid of the wage without paying a fine.

can we trade things not associated with the man game for riders?
ex: I want Andy Schleck, so trade for Schleck with a bag of special beans.

Indeed, the one situation I was thinking of where giving a rider away for free wouldnt seem a bit odd, is where a team needs to get rid of a rider for salary cap reasons, and wants to avoid having to pay a fine.

Would it also be okay if it doesn't have to do with fines, but just want to make cap space for a specific rider?
Ex. me chasing Cunego. I pay 900,000 but unfortunately I can't give any more, an the wage for him raises to 1mil. May I let Contador go to another team for free to open cap space to keep in the bid war for Cunego?
I know that this exact scenario is very unrealistic, as I would prolly never give that kind of money for a rider, and I should be able to get money for Contador, but just to clear it up, in a different scenario.
