Stage 7
Valencia - Valencia
Valencia TT...I am still worried about Plaza form. He should be in better shape already..but has been stuck.
Lets start with Gutierrez..he has been unlucky one. Several crashes..and not have been same after that. Today...24. (+1'54)...
Cavendish..super TT for him. 15. (+1'32)
Pereiro ..great one. I can not wait what he can do in mountains 7th. (+1'04)
van den Broeck..27. (+2'00)
Nozal...41. (+2'33)..
Fränk...23. (+1'56)..he is still in the game?
Basso has been hiding well so far..today. 13. (+1 '27). He is still dangerous.
Tondo...26. (+1 '58)
Please meet this guy..Hesjedal..he is Garmin leader. Not quite there..will see what he can do at mountains 54. (+2'47)
Castano...12. (+1'25)
Zubeldia..14. (+1'28)
Guerra..33. (+2'09).. I belive that result is giving leader role to Plaza..
Boom..38. (+2'24)
Plaza..18. (+1'48)...not there where i was expecting. But this is he's condition at the moment..top 20 place.
Veloso 9. (+1'11)
Contador 5. (+45 sec.)
Menchov..6th. and exactly same time with Contador.
Klöden ...3rd. (+36 sec.)
Larsson..fastest man today.
Evans was super again..he is now tour overall win favorite..2nd. today (+34 sec.)
Grabsch..4. (+44 sec.)
Hushovd ..great TT 10. (+1'19)
Cobo..8. (+1'06)
Sami Sanchez..11. (+1'24)..but this is enough to continue with golden jersey..

Stage 8
Alzira - Alto de Aitana
First mountain stage.. Team is worried after yesterday TT..things aint looking good at the moment. We will take it easy and aint take any risky moves. Just hang on as long as possible.
Schleck and Pereiro atacking after every mountain top finish. This is about KOM points. Strange to se them both on that competition. I was expecting them aiming GC spot.
Cavendish crashes in descent..he is ok to keep moving on..
Breakaway trio..Monfort, Cummings and David Le Lay. One of them will be new KOM leader..
82km. to go..Evans crashes..this is serious. Peloton already riding fast...
..team comes back..to help him out..
Then Ribeiro crashes..he just missed Evans train..and should chase alone..
It took almost 30km., to get him back to the main group..now question is. How much energy he has lost already today?
45 km. to go..another crash and another train..Euskaltel and Samuel Sanchez.. Ribeiro can follow that train for a moment. This stage is full of crashes..
11km to go..and Sanchez is finaly back..it took so long.
10km to go..and Fuji building pressure..tempo is real high..
Then Petrov atack..and who will counter? Both riders who had crashed earlier today and had chased main group almost 30km. How!? Specialy Sanchez he just get back into that group about 2km ago..
..and counter wave..Cobo, Contador, Schleck.
Plaza need to keep he's head cool. He knows that he cant go with this guys..and he need to keep he's own speed to limit a losses.
..at the front amazing Sami is alone at the front..
Evans, Contador, Cobo and Schleck are chasing..
E3 Arroyo, Zubeldia, Menchov and surprise name for me ..Vicioso.
E4 Then Efimkin, Basso, Klöden...
E5..Mosquera, Xavi Florencio..where is Plaza?
..and a finish line. Golden jersey takes a stage win..this is second one now. He is gonna do Di Luca..win everything?..this was to amazing today.
Cobo, Schleck and Evans crossing a line 27 sec. later (Contador is droped). Sanchez will lead now with 1'16..
Here comes Arroyo ..he almost has cought Contador..great ride..
Plaza ..3'13 after Samuel Sanchez..Vuelta is still "young"..and he has won one GC spot again 17th. now.
Different story with Guerra ...+6'37 today. This is to much..he will support Plaza now..
Monfort is new KOM leader...

Stage 9
Alcoy - Xorret del Cati
Here we go..another hilly stage..Riders who likes to have KOM jersey should atack today
Ribeiro was droped yesterday ..thanks for that crash. He is out there today to collect KOM points.. Everything was looking good for him..then Efimkin atacked..and peloton speed is different now.. Ribeiro can not keep up with Efimkin
Efimkin is cought..but peloton just keep on holding pressure..Fuji and Euskaltel
113 km to go..and we have about half a riders left in main group..
25km to go..there go's Plaza last support Guerra can not follow..
..and they start final over 10% hill .. Plaza knows he need to hold atack for a last moment..
Because tempo as been grazy fast all day and this is real steep hill..Schleck going first
Evans, Cobo counter...
Then Arroyo..
Contador..he passes Anton who has pulled this climb to fast..Euskaltel can not follow he's speed...
..Menchov, Mosquera...
..and descent. Fränk is leading alone..Contador, Arroyo, Mosquera trio cashing
Plaza has launched short atack..just before the summit..he is descending with Efimkin. Lets hope that he will get few extra seconds today..
Fränk collecting a stage win...
..Contador, Mosquera, Arroyo..same time..
Plaza beating Efimkin +43 sec. later..
Main group coming..damn same time with Plaza..But also good news for other favorites. Sanchez is not unbeatable..

Stage 10
Alicante - Murcia
Gutierrez has choosen great day for breakaway..he had so far realy unlucky Vuelta and is now after stage win..
..and this is already final climb..25km. to go..peloton is 1'32 behind..he wont make it.
Weird to see Cervelo at the front..they are planning something for Thor today..?
and it was mass sprint..can you believe it. Schleck has won it..that is two on the row for Fränk.
classic export result crash..
