This is what i got about it:
Humanplasma is the name of a laboratory in Vienna at the centre of a doping investigation by Austrian police. Disgraced 2008 Tour de France polka-dot jersey winner Bernhard Kohl has reportedly confessed to prosecutors that he received blood transplants at Humanplasma and other riders are suspected of sharing the cost of a blood centrifuge as part of a blood doping programme.
“I'm surprised to be asked about it. It's not a new story for me,” Menchov said.
“I gave lots of explanations last year and don't think I've got explain any thing else. I've got nothing to do with it and want to stay focused on the race.”
When pushed if he has to appear before a judge as a witness as part of the Austrian investigation, Menchov said: “Maybe. I haven't got any problems, I've got nothing to do with it. If someone wants to question me I've no problem.”
Menchov was vague with his answers but his Rabobank team was more forthcoming. According to the Austrian APA agency, Rabobank spokesman Luuc Eisenga said: “Police investgators have made contact with us. We've assured them of our complete cooperation."
According to APA, no rider is directly involved in the police investigation but they could be questioned as witnesses, perhaps like in the Operacion Puerto case, where riders were considered victims of Dr Fuentes work with their blood.

Zomegan has revealed to Cycling Weekly that he would like the Giro D'Italia to begin in London/Manchester in 2012.
He also revealed how the possibility in the 2009 Giro starting in New York for Lance was in the process. In the end they "didn't have the time" but it was planned. |

Appearently Dekker is no part of the Vienna blood doping case, because he said he hasn't heard anything from Austria. They haven't called him to the hearing. |

Didn't a similar thing happen in the Tour, then the organiser was promptly sacked for "insanity" |

Funny how when Velonews talked to Menchov about this, they made the point to mention in the article that Menchov was "visibly nervous" when the austrian clinic was mentioned.

So, was Menchov actually called to a hearing or not?
The other guy posted that random thing and never showed up again, so I'm treating it as bullshit until I see confirmation.

Robbie McEwen completely busted his knee.
Not "ow that hurts" busted. "Ligaments and bone chunks everywhere" busted.
A knee injury to a sprinter usually means around 1.5 years until they fully recover. Given McEwen's age....well, you get the picture.
If I were him, I'd retire.

Isso says 'fully recovered'. McEwen might be back in a few months, but it'll take way longer to get him back to normal. |

A knee injury for a sprinter takes usually a season to a season and a half on average to recover fully. This is because it doesn't allow the rider to train the muscles of both legs equally.
This causes a muscular imbalance that prevents the rider from sprinting at full speed.
Look at how slow Petacchi was for the long long months after he came back from injury. He couldn't even beat Boonen.

I didnt imply hes going to be back in top form after 4 months, I just think 1.5y is a bit exaggerated |

French police should soon have arrest warrants for Floyd Landis and his coach Arnie Baker.
This is because a while ago Baker and Landis hired a hacker to hack into the LNDD and steal confidential documents pertaining to the Landis case, so as to alter the information in them and then present them in court as a part of Landis' defense, to discredit the accusers.

There was a hearing, but they didn't show up. The warrants are so the police can force them to go to the hearing.
If they're found guilty (the hacker's confessed, plus it's been established that the hacking was done from baker's IP address), the sentence will be decided later.

Michael Rasmussen was interviewed to dansk tv today. He says that he's in negotiations with a Pro Continental Team, and that he expects to be back for Tour of Denmark.
(= In your face, Jesper Worre )
Edit: I just read the source article, and in that one, Rasmussen also says that he's negotiating with a Pro Tour team.
