Yes, of course the patch is needed. I don't see why anyone would play an unpatched game.
The thing is that the patches contain some stage files which are used by the Daily DB. You could try to download the patch and install it in a dummy directory, and then manually move the needed files (e.g. the CM_Stages folder in the dummy folder to your PCM CM_Stages folder).
No problem i install the game again an update to last patch |

It was '09 in V2, but they changed it for V2.1 because of the stage 2 crash. |

I don't really see how the national team bug would exist in V2.1. I'd have to take a look at your savegame to find the reason.
The 'new' Pro Tour rankingi s simply that we changed the points schema, so it matches the one used in 'real life'. |

but in this new system you won´t get points for PT Ranking when you win Paris-Nizza but after i had won this race i had lead this ranking with schleck and when cunego win the giro who was on third place in tis ranking so will you fix that in V3 that paris-nizza nd the other races and grand tours aren´t PT races anymor ? |

It's because the photo has the wrong size... I've resized it: https://rapidshare.com/files/197216514...e.tga.html

after one season testing (3d) i would say this db have give me the love dor pcm back grande tour are so raelistic in the mountains and one day races are so dramatical and now you can call it a sprint like we see it in tv because everytime a group of minimal 5 drivers are fighting for win close (often like photofinish) and not like one driver wins 10 m before the nxt drivers
but one problem which is a bit frustrating drivers attacking to often in the beginning and again and again ! maybe ist the fault of the pc difficult ( extrem ) but maybe attributes are to high |

The Giro is one big bug (if you check the profiles) some stages are flat while there is a huge mountain, and some hills. I'll tell you how you should make them.
1 -> flat
2 -> flat
3 -> flat
4 -> mountain
5 -> mountain
6 -> mountain
7 -> hill
8 -> hill (how can you make this flat )
9 -> flat
10 -> mountain
11 -> flat
12 -> hill
13 -> flat
14 -> hill (you're serious this is a freaking hill stage)
15 -> hill (you're serious this is a freaking hill stage)
16 -> mountain
17 -> mountain
18 -> hill
19 -> mountain
20 -> flat
21 -> flat
My results:
Flat: 8
Hill: 5
Mountain: 8 |

We're not basing the profiles on what they look like, but what we want the results to be like.
If you make the stages hilly, you'll normally see attacks by the GC favourites. However, in real life, you'll either see:
1. Breakaways winning
2. The peloton reeling in the breakaway and a sprint finish
By making the profiles flat, this is also likely to happen in PCM. |
