Willems wins overall, after finishing 30th in the time trial.
Too bad Posthuma didn't have the same form he had last year. Now he was slower than devolder and westra for instance, last year he won the time trial with 15 seconds on backstedt and 16 on devolder. That same kind of form would have given him the win today. Ah well. I'll have to live with Posthuma and Leezer being 2nd and 3rd. And Westra 2nd in the TT.
What do we dutch have with 2nd places or just-not-winning...

Something special happened today ... Frank Vandenbroucke won a stage!
He took the victory on the 2nd stage of Les Boucles d’Artois - a 10 km. ITT.

hmm De la Fuente set up the pace a few metres there before really atacking. You'd thought that he is a sure victim, but no.

Same as every year, to be fair. Actually, worse than usual. So many big names that would usually be there are suspended/retired.

At least the top 3 of last year is present again. Although the 3rd is a big question mark considering his form

He's from '89, and is very talented, his main strengh is Hills and mountains. He will never become a cobble rider though.
