Jumbo Visma pulling an Ineos and sending the domestique after the stage win...
...i.e., keep sitting on and Kuss wins. Make an attack and Roglic sits on you...
Great job by MAL calling the bluff and soloing the finish.
Astana need to call in some favors from other teams tonight if MAL is going to have a chance at going after Roglic... |

Ant Crossman, with 20km to go: "Simon, what do Ineos do at the finish here?"
Simon Gerrans: "Yeah I think we'll see in about 20km"
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Carapaz takes KOM jersey then surely they will give the stage to Kwiatkowski |

Yeah I hope so, just thought that was a funny moment
Not been loving that commentary pairing, not sure why NZ has moved to their feed instead of the Aussie one with Keenan and McEwen which I quite liked

Landa is overrated a bit
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

An Ineos win I’m actually happy about, actually like them both and Kwiatkowski deserves this for all he has sacrificed in the past years. Chapeau! |

5th in GC! Very good Landani. If he has a TT like in his Sky days and MAL has a TT like MAL, then he could still reach 3rd. Happy with either MAL, Porte or Landa on the podium tho.

Yes, far more GC riders should take note and try more often, even if they fail. Given the bad prep situations in Spain with the lockdown, I think he holds up quite well.
Meanwhile Valv rides to a 10th in GC that no one cares about, probably not even he himself lol

It's safe to say that for the first time Peter Sagan was defeated in a mano-a-mano battle for Maillot Vert. With the next stage being flat one and the 52 point gap, Sagan will need a miracle to win his 8th Maillot Vert. And honestly, he already holds the record anyway so why not aim for the Maglia Ciclamino or the Maillot Verde
