Demonstrations help the break... so today I'm all for them.
well the doemonstraters were beginning to leave when the break showed up, so it took a few seconds to pick their way through, they were gone by the tume the peloton showed up
btw, here is the gc forthe break
Feillu + 18 seconds
Longo + 39
Frishkorn + 2 minutes
Dumoulin + 4 mins. 30 sec.
Feillu could grab yellow for a day, the French would be happy

I think Frishkorn will win with a well timed attack wtih about 2 k to go
the tail wind should see them stay away

I cant believe that with the lack of pure sprinteres stages they missed this one
Feillu and Dumoulin will probably be favorites in a sprint. Maybe Feillu will just drive them home for yellow, and not have much left though.

splits! hope Millar and Vandevelde are up front.
Edit: Quickstep are really driving the pace up fornt, and looks like more than 50 or so are in small groups chasing, dont see them getting back unless the pack gives up chasing the break.

I thought I saw that too, maybe some GC guys caught out and they are riding for Devolder?
Edit: Menchov and Ricco are behind

I think there's a small chance they catch the break and he knows it and he's trying to get the gap as small as possible.

Ricco and Menchov are now 45 seconds back, could loose well over a minute with Quickstep and Liquigas at the front

The peleton surely can't bridge a gap that big in 13kms. So the win, if it goes to a sprint will either be Dumoulin's or Feillu's, but they are both French, so I hope one of the others attacks
