Digging around in the DB, the variants file is indeed there and full of xml files and rules, so I'm definitely confused as to why it didn't create new profiles with the new season...
I wonder if this could be an issue with the One-Click DB? |

The DB uses the UCI race rankings:
PT
1.HC
1.1
1.2
2.1
2.2
might be more but the DB uses the official UCI rankings of the races

Katyusha is a 2009 team.

No no, dont respond like that Maggot. I suppose that all i can say is that we had enough on our plate adding other races teams and other things. Its not a case that we "so hate russians" its just that were enough to do and to be getting on with. If you don't like just add them yourself or find someone to help you do so. And Maggot is right. This is a 2008 DB Katyusha weren't as big.... Maybe you should read the description before slagging off a great DB....

There's a limit to the work done. People can't work forever until they add every team and race in existence. It must stop some time. That's why those races and Katyusha aren't there. If you notice, a lot of races and teams that are much more important than those aren't there either, so it's nothing against russians
I hope that explained it well enough
No offense, but if your first thought is "they hate russians", then there's something wrong with your social and probably political ideas. And that scares me. |

anyway, katyusha is an 09 team isnt it and this is an 08 db. it was focused on the big races and a few british ones and very few stagemakers are around so stretching them to make quite small russian races isn't a priority

As it was mentioned, Katyusha was also a team in 2008 - just not a big one. |

Sorry, if what I wright, was bluntly, I didn't want to abuse any person, especially, that made this db. It's really wery good.
For sure, Katyusha is 2008 team, and I don't think, that it is small team. Timofei Kristkiy became 17-th in owerall European Tour. It's really good result.
And the team itself has been 18-th, even better result than Tinkoff! I even don't mention teams like Pinarello or Kuota-Senges. So, maybe your descision not to include Katyusha in db was not right. But, you are the makers, you are the bosses. |

The DB was primarily aimed at British and Americans which is why there's so many British and American teams and races in the DB.
And no, Katyusha didn't do better than Tinkoff. Far from. In the CQRanking, Tinkoff is currently 26th - Katyusha is 63rd. |

Katyusha is higher ranked in the UCI Europe tour then Tinkoff and that is what Maximka pointed out. He didn't say Katyusha got better results then Tinkoff.
Tinkoff got 2 stage wins in the Giro and also got invited to the Vuelta, so of course their CQ ranking is better then Katyusha. But again he was only talking about the UCI Europe tour rankings.
And in fact this is a bit like PCM. You can win the Tour with a continental team and finish very high in the Superprestige rankings and easily not get enough points to promote to the ProTour.
