Hey, he was beaten by Howson by the slim margin of 9 seconds, and that Howson had a better average speed than Wiggins today on Monday

Okay, I was exaggerating my point there
Howson is a great rider, like him a lot myself. And especially since he could become more than just TT-er, he's very solid on hills, at least easily above average.

Phenomenal result by Quaade yet again. It doesn't matter what level he rides at, he always performs a top result
Now he just needs to learn how to 1) Stay on his bike, 2) Don't faint after 60km of riding and 3) Ride in a peloton.
Once those 3 points are cleared, then he will become one of the best danish riders of all time. Oh well. It won't happen, but atleast we have a rider that can potentially do a podium of the WC TT in a year or two. Cancellara is fading, and Wiggins is becoming older. Interesting to see if he can keep up with Phinney in the end. Phinney always had the edge of him, and now it seems that Quaade is clawing a bit back, so the distance isn't unmanageble.
If you by any chance can get hand of "Moon Rider" with English subtitles you should really check it out. It's a brilliant documentary on him. He's a really unique person.

+1 to this
he seemed impressive in the U23 TT back when it was in Geelong (ahead of Phinney at checkpoint 1), but came unstuck after overshooting a bend and then ended up retiring soon after
seemed a pretty good TTist, just got unlucky when it mattered (see LLS in the olympics last year, but not quite that bad) |

He had a puncture (or crash, not sure) in Geelong, but apparently no backup bike, so had to abandon soon after puncture/crash. |

He talked like be wanted to at the 2011 TDF but after he got dropped easily in the 1st few mountain stages I haven't heard him talk of it again. I am glad it didn't work out as he is something else to watch on a TT bike, I'm a TT fan but do like the way he goes about it.

I read on some german site, i think radsport-news.com, that he was planning on losing a lot of weight over the winter and try to become a serious GC-Contender, i think just because he is kind of bored winning nearly every TT he enters.

Please no. That mean that Froome will win every TT he enters. Don't give more nightmares that I already have. |

I don't know. I read that Martin will stay focused on time trials. We'll see, I guess.
And either way, Wiggins is still a better time trialist than Froome, same goes for Cancellara, I believe And Phinney's still coming up, too!
And if not, Froome might crash into a race official, right? |

Maybe he should go on more solos like he did in La Vuelta and he won't get bored, or go for the cobbles, he gets over hills well enough and good testers can do well on the cobbles. I also think he should have a go at the hour record, I personally think that is where Wiggins is headed and would love to see Martin have a go at it
