From the moment Golas attacked, this was a really enjoyable attacking stage.
I enjoyed that one.

Yeah great stage today, and with a surprise winner which makes it so much more pleasant.
Bak wasn't by far the strongest on that breakaway but he took his chance and got lucky in the end.

BAK! You got to love that guy. Aggressive yet loyal, always hard working and interesting in interview situations. |

Great win by Bak, great timing with his attack. Gutted to see Casar couldn't get the maglia rosa though.
Still waiting for this Giro to properly start anyway. This is turning out to be a repeat of the 2011 Tour, minus the GC contenders crashing out.

Big day for Denmark and HUGE day for danish cycling not often we get these wins.
And Lars Bak - so deserved!! One of the best helpers in the world. So loyal for SO many years. He is such a good rider, but its not often he gets the chance to ride for him self. He can everything - mountain, hills, flat, TT, not a bad sprinter (obv not a Cavendish either). He is just pure class. |

Bak's a monster. He always does plenty of work for his leaders, and he's finally been rewarded with a GT win. |

He's won a giro stage before you know....
But a nice winner today yeah. Could see this coming though, the others were sleeping.

Great attack by Bak, as soon as he pulled his typical strenght move, it was over
Looking for the weekend stages, i agree with Kumazan it was bit a training ride so far, but it is understandable with brutal third week.
Hope to see Kreuziger staying in the battle for pink, i think Rodriguez could loose in these two stages.

Kreuziger has actually surprised me, I thought he wouldn't do too well but at the moment he's been very strong and Astana have been using smart tactics, like sending Tiralongo out yesterday, so they believe in him having a chance which is also good.

Well he was 6th (5th) last year with white jersey and had best 2012 season so far from the favourites besides Rodriguez and he is even lighter and according to his words stronger this year, so not so surprising to see him there. His biggest problem is usual one bad day in the mountains, hopefully this year he will not have it. And Astana is with Liqui and Lampre the strongest team

So pissed at those damn idiots at Eurosport right now.
After returning home yesterday night, I avoided all the sites that could spoil the result from yesterday's stage, planning to watch the replay this morning. Eurosport was apparently showing it at 9. So after a long wait, I turn on my TV at 9, but of course WTCC runs for longer time than expected.
I'd have been okay if the Giro had started after ten minutes, when the WTCC broadcast was finished. But then, they decide to skip it altogether, and show some stupid preparation for the Olympics program that was supposed to start after the Giro, at 10.
I'm very angry and very disappointed. I've now read the report from the stage, and fortunately it wasn't an extremely eventful day. Still, I'd have liked to see it. So thank you very much, Eurosport. Not.

Eurosport usually broadcasts it before the stage of today, doesn't it?

They do, if there is not some stupid tennis match or so, which was the case yesterday.

Yeah, but what annoys me isn't that I couldn't watch the stage. It's that they simply decided to skip the whole program in favour for that Olympics thing and some minutes of crappy Watts.
