Estimated crowd: 156000
That is over 1.5x bigger than the AFL grand final yesterday |

To be fair if 156,000 people could fit in the MCG, there'd probably be that many there |

Gotta love a free world class event! Plus the great weather, that adds up to 156,000 people showing up to a bike race |

No matter the weather, I promise to make an attempt at beating that number next year
(Although the weather probably will be awful)

Well, turning on the TV, I can see the race on at least three channels

People were leaving early though, so at least we can hold 156k
(i know AFL is bigger, but cycling won this weekend)
Unless the NRL grand final goes into extra time tonight or something crazy. |

Yeah thats what I'm watching. But we need a japanese feed, cause japanese announcers are always exciting.
Russian girls eh! Studies show they spam western men and eventually steal your credit card number. But it doesn't say that part.

Is anyone else in Australia sick of those smoking propaganda ads? No one watches the cycling to watch terminally sick hospital patients tell us what we can and can't do. I'm trying to eat lunch FFS! |
