don't forget Gerdemann!
he's been lulling everyone into a false sense of security by being shit for the last 2 years waiting to strike at the 2010 Giro!!! |

Evans is 43 seconds behind now, I think he'll be about 3 minutes behind after the TTT. I also think the top placed riders won't try anything risky 'till the Zoncolan, so Nibali has plenty of time to ride himself into form. |

This is a joke. No TT yet (the stage 1 TT was too short, anyways) and no climbs yet. And nevertheless, there aren't left but like 6 contenders with a real aspiration.

I don't think he will lose more than 2 minutes in the TTT because the distance is relatively short: 30 kms. Anyway, very interesting Giro so far. |

If Sastre doesn't win this, then I understand nothing to cycling.

If he had lost that time during a mountain stage, it would be a point. But to be fair, something weird must have happened today. UrĂ¡n wouldn't lose about 15 minutes in a flat stage if it wasn't because of some unusual race circumstance.

Just saw the stage.
Words cannot describe how retarded these stages have been.
This is why I hate dangerous flat stages. They add absolutely nothing at all whatsoever except arbitratily crashing people.
Next time let's all stay home and throw darts at a board full of riders' names and say "you. broken collarbone. you. 50 second time loos. you. mangled face."

Who knows? Maybe Nibali can repeat Savoldelli's 2005 performance winning downhill-ended stages |

and now ruben steps forward and saying.there is nothing wrong with Holland roads. And you dont understand that..because you did not talked and thinked about it.
Shitty stage again..after 2 flat stages Sastre loosing 1'40..is this all week to ride flat?
Vino in pink..and some blind fans screeming here..same time hugh cycling fans who standing near to road..absolutely hate this guy.
Only question will be ..? How fast he will be cought again? Excuse that they all are dopers ..is weakest as possible. And yeaah cyclingnews forum is way better.
Has much I like Nibali. I do not expect much from him..probably sponsors demanded him to ride after Pellizotti incident.
Still Evans, Basso, Sastre are podium for me..

"It was pretty harsh," Weylandt said afterwards. "I had the feeling towards the end of the stage that Greipel wasn't going very well. I thought he had combined something with [stage 2 runner-up Matt] Goss, and I anticipated it. Goss changed his direction. I followed him because I suspected Greipel would leave a gap to let his leadout man go. That's how I touched Greipel's wheel, but it was just a normal move."
maybe Greipel really is feeling sick

I feel more sorry for Uran. He had high hopes put on by people like us but is now back over 10 minutes.

Bummer that Cadel lost the pink jersey. Hoping Cadel finally wins a GT. I'm a bit late but couldnt watch the highlights before late today.
