WTF is doing Flecha? That applause looked a bit ironic.
Well, he must be a bit angry... Hushovd didn't work with him, or only when the road was downhill (if we can call it downhill), so it's sure it's not difficult for him to take the 2nd.
Anyway, really great win for a great champion, and for sure, Cancellara is more complete than Contador.
Oh.. and... well I said it before somewhere on the forum, but wait for the cobbles in TdF... |

No big surprises really... Cancellara stronger than anyone, we already knew that. Boonen didn't come in 2nd was his own fault, but atleast he tried to win the race, no one else did.
Matti out of the top 50, we also knew that (Ironic or not?). Biggest surprise: Sebastien Hinault, Dominik Klemme and Jaroslav Popovych imo. Everything else was written in the book before the race.

Popovych has always been a correct cobble rider, not a suprise for me. Concerning Hinault and Klemme, I agree with you. |

Popovych did win the U23 Paris-Roubaix in 2001, so yeah, he should be able to do well in this race. |

Eh, great and deserved win by Cance. Just a bit dull race.
Also, great race by the one all danish media proclaimed RACE FAVOURITE. Great job predicting the winner! You rule!
(no, i dont care what his excuse is this time)

Nah, biggest suprise is Theo Bos finishing in 53th place.
Ahead of guys like Bonnet and Boom. Boom even finished outside time limit.
A year ago, Boom and Bos trained together in Bos first weeks as road cyclist, and Boom was much much better (according to both). Now Boom blows up after 200km and finishes behind Bos in Paris Roubaix. Ouch..
But hey, I always said Boom is more a rider for AGR and LBL then for Flanders and Roubaix, he makes the same mistake Nys made. |

Where are all those people that thought Armstrong would win?
Edit: Dont mind the above writing.
Great ride by Cancellara and good placing for Barry and Rollin.

Now if Armstrong would have won that, i'd have been very very impressed, considering he is somewhere in America right now.

I'm pretty sure Biathalon said he would win or get top 3 or something like that a week ago. Of course I could have misread or just plain made it up in my head by accident.
Anyway i'm glad Spartacus won cause I now won a bet. Its been a long time.
