i wonder with the game crashing in 2008, could it be due to it being a leap year? |

something just isn't right. I've uninstalled the game several times (deleted the folder inside my documents plus application data, everything's patched to 1.0.3) and restarted several careers. every time the same problems:
1. a bunch of country flags are wrong. as in some I just see a pink square and others I just see the face of a rider;
2. the scouting zones are screwed up. pink squares all over the place (probably country maps that aren't loaded correctly) and if I mouse over one of them, I get a CTD;
3. the well publicised issue where I can't select the team for some smaller races.
(yes, I'm using the 1.1 fix)
i've got the same porblem
Please help!!!help!!!!
Copied the UserHome directory and pasted it in the man PCM directory, overwriting what was already there.
I deleted the Cache and when I next played the game, the flags all worked and the scouting areas were back to normal.
Where Cach folder

The Cache folder should normally be in:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourLoginName\Application Data\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\Cache

Or do this:
Go to Start -> Run. Type in %appdata% . In that folder, find Pro Cycling Manager 2007. Inside that folder, you'll find the Cache-folder. |

actually it's D:
but everything else was correct, and you need to have hidden folders showng, to access Application Data
to do this go to Tools-->Folder Options... and in one of the tabs, enable hidden folder viewing

It doesn't need to be D. It can change from each computer. If I wanted to, I could name my Master Disc for Z or Q or whatever. In my case (and for most people), it's called C. |

by default it's C. it's anything else only if you change it, or if you have more than one hard drive (in which case only one can be C so the other is D). it comes from the days where there were only two drives and they were for floppy disks. drives A and B

Is there any chance that you in the pcm-crew, make later edition, as "PCM Spain 1.2" With even more national championships ? The South African or the Baltik ? |

We at PCMdaily are not involved in the making of PCM Spain so we can't make a new update, I'm not sure whether Dankan wants to either but you can always ask him
(Dankan is a member of the PCM Spain team who tells us things about it )

if I remember correctly from the PCM-Spain forum, Dankan won't be further involved in any PCM-Spain DBs. but don't take my word for it, unless Dankan confirms it here.

And what's more, I won't be at PCM Spain anymore. I decided to retire from there. So no further updates will be made.
atm. I'm planning what to do "abroad". |

yeah, I saw your whole profile said "retirado". can't say I blame you. the forum's whole nature has shifted quite a bit in the last year.
anyway, whenever it is you'll end up "abroad", I'm looking forward to hear what you'll be involved in

Well. We can just hope that you make something equally as nice in the future. Together with PCM Spain or not.
