@ Ian Butler: the entire team gives you these babes (this one is Dianna Dahlgren again)
@ FreitasPCM: you were right!
@ neillster: Since the game can't cause a team-sickness (more riders of a team getting sick) as far as I know, there is only 1 option left
@ PCM rulezz: thanks!
I'll start working with the Tour-preview, but that'll take some time. Expect no updates today (also celebrating my birthday (real date 18-2), possibly also not tomorrow (takes some time...) Hey! I'm celebrating MY birthday today! Cool!
Then happy Bday to you too!!! Well, my birthday is Thursday, but thanks! And to you too!!! You'll get one on Monday to

I don't think Wilco will ride, the tour is for Gesink

Welcome to Roubaix for Le Grand Départ of the 101st Tour de France. A Tour that has a startlist, stronger and more competitive than ever. Who will be the successor of Andy Schleck, who won the previous edition beating Vincenzo Nibali and Albert Contador?
The Route
3245 kilometres separate the riders from the glory at the Champs d'Elysée. It's a Tour for the climbers, with 6 mountain stages, 3 hilly stages, 6 mountain top finishes and a mountain time trial. There are only 64 TT-kilometres: the first stage is a cobbled ITT of 12.8 in Roubaix, then a 15.3km Mountain TT up the Alpe d'Huez, and finally 36 kilometres around Avignon.
Stage 1-4
The Tour de France starts with a 12km time trial in Roubaix, including 2.5 cobbled kilometres and the finish at the famous Vélodrome. In stage 2, the riders head to the East to the Champagn-region with the finish in Reims. Also stage 3 and 4 are for the sprinters. Stage 3 ends in Mantes-la-Jolie and the 4th stage in Blois.
Stage 5-7
On the way to the South of France, stage 5 finishes in the Limousin. The last part of the stage is a bit hilly, and the finish is uphill. The next day awaits the first hilly stage, as the riders enter the Avergne. But the summit of the last climb, the La Roche Noire, is located 33 kilometres before the finish in Aurillac. Stage 7 is flat again, although there are some hills in the first part. The finish awaits in Lavaur.
Stage 8-10
There are 3 stages in the Pyrenées this Tour. The first one has a long flat part, before the ascend of the Port de Balès (18.8km at 6.3%) and the final climb to Superbagnères (18.5km at 6.3%). Stage 9 is stacked with climbs in just 112 kilometres: the Peyresourde, d'Azet, d'Aspin, Hourquette d'Ancizan and the final climb of the Col de Portet (17.8km at 7.9%, alt 2215 metres). The 10th stage is almost flat, except for the Hourquette d'Ancizan in the first part and the finish at the summit of the Col du Tourmalet.
Stage 11-13
The 3 transition stages between the Pyrenées and the Alps start with a hilly one to Tarasco-sur-Ariège (the summit of the last climb, the Col d'Agnes, is 34km before the finish. The next 2 stages are flat again, first stage 12 to Sigean and then the longest stage of this Tour (210.8km) to Arles.
Stage 14-17
The Alps await with 4 completely different stages. First a hilly one, with the finish at the summit of Mont Colombis. Next is a 165km stage over the Col d'Izoard and the finish at the summit of the Col du Parpaillon. The 16th stage features 2 Alp-giants, namely the Col du Galibier (the highest point of this Tour) and the Col de la Croix de Fer. The finish awaits after a long descend (37km) to Le Bourg d'Oisans. The next day, only 1 climb awaits, the Alpe d'Huez. It's a 15km mountain TT with an average gradient of 8.1%.
Stage 18-21
After 4 days in the Alps, a flat stage to Montélimar awaits. The GC-contenders need to save or regain their energy for stage 19 and 20. Stage 19 finishes at the Mont Ventoux (alt. 1912m), and the GC will be decided in the final ITT of 36km with start and finish in Avignon. The Tour traditionally ends at the Champs d'Elysées in Paris.

What an awesome route! The mountains are great. Could you tell me what version that is, please?
Good luck to all Petronas riders out there! |

I want to know (just like Ian) from which year is this Tour or is it a fantasy tour?
