Hm... Andy has been forced to withdraw? Hope it's nothing with Gesink! |

@ PCM rulezz & sutty: he'll ride the ITT's in the Tour with a brand new Dutch champ team shirt, thanks to Maddrengen!
@ Daggen: he's 42 or 43 right now, amazing....
@ FreitasPCM: No, not Gesink. That's all I'll say now!

Team Sky hit by gastric enteritis!
A few members of the Team Sky Tour de France-squad will start the Tour de France with a big disadvantage. 5 riders have been regularly visitors to the toilet, as they have been struck by vomiting and diarrhea. Graham Briggs, Chris Opie, Rigoberto Urán, Mark Cavendish and especially GC-favourite and last years's winner Andy Schleck are being isloated in the hotel in Roubaix, were the Grand Départ will be.
According to the team, Andy Schleck knows it is a setback, but believes he can recover enough in the first week, to become stronger towards the Pyrenées.

Doesn't seems good for Sky but maybe it's good for you and Gesink

Extra opportunities for you, and you deserve it, because your team hasn't been the luckiest either at crucial points

June review
Summary
We raced only 2 races in June, the Dauphiné and Suisse. WIlco Kelderman won a stage and the GC in the Dauphiné, and is back in training at the moment after a 2 week holiday. In the Tour de Suisse, Gesink showed his form is progressing towards the Tour. No stage wins there, but a few top 3's for him and Thomas Dekker, and a 3rd place in the GC for Gesink.
Media awards
Wilco Kelderman receives the award of rider of the month, thansk to his result in the Dauphiné. Rasmus Quaade became Danish TT-champ and is the young rider of the month.
Rankings
World Tour riders
Tom Boonen has dropped from 1st to 4th, making room for the stage racers. Wilco Kelderman is back in 1st place, probably not for long, as Andy Schleck and ALberto COntador are in 2nd and 3rd.
World Tour teams
Petronas - Monster Energy stays in the lead, followed by Radio Shack. Team Sky has improved to 3rd place.
Continental Tour riders
Daniele Callegarin (Team Type 1) has jumped over Lloyd Mondory and is leading the CT-ranking. Also Samuel Dumoulin, thanks to 2 wins in the Route du Sud, has overtaken Mondory and is in 2nd.
Continental Tour teams
Only 1 point is the difference between the number 1, La Française des Jeux, and the number 2, Team Type 1. The number 3, M&M's, follows at almost 500 points!
CQ riders
Wilco Kelderman is leading the CQ-ranking, with a huge gap to Edvald Boasson Hagen and Tom Boonen.
CQ teams
And of course, Petronas - Monster Energy also leads the CQ teams ranking, with Radio Shack in 2nd and Sky in 3rd.
Wins riders
Tom Boonen became Belgian RR-champ and now has 11 wins. Mark Cavendish, Alberto Contador and, surprisingly, Samuel Dumoulin, follow with 9 wins.
Wins teams
Team Sky is leading with 26 wins (8 in June!!), thanks to Schleck and Cancellara. Petronas - Monster Energy and Movistar follow with 22.
With kind regards of Wilco Kelderman, from a beach not to be mentioned:

July preview
Our sponsor wants us to ride the Tour of Qinghai Lake in China, so we'll start there with a young team, with Wilco Kelderman for the GC and Jens Mulder for the sprints. Also the Clasicá San Sebastián is a goal for us, with Dekekr and Gesink.
But the most important race of the year is of course the Tour de France. Robert Gesink will be our man for the GC, and Marcel Kittel for the sprints.
Monthly goals
- 1 stage win in Qinghai Lake
- Top 5 in San Sebastián
- At least 2 stage wins and the GC-win in Le Tour.

Can I just ask, did this really happen in the game, or did you introduce it? If you introduced it, excellent twist to the story If the game did it, the most phonemically bad luck for team Sky. |

@ Ian Butler: the entire team gives you these babes (this one is Dianna Dahlgren again)
@ FreitasPCM: you were right!
@ neillster: Since the game can't cause a team-sickness (more riders of a team getting sick) as far as I know, there is only 1 option left
@ PCM rulezz: thanks!
I'll start working with the Tour-preview, but that'll take some time. Expect no updates today (also celebrating my birthday (real date 18-2), possibly also not tomorrow (takes some time...)
