Does Sicard have a pro contract for next year? I thought I remembered seeing somewhere that he signed with Cofidis but I wasn't sure.
Yes, he has a contract with Euskaltel. He currently races with Euskaltel's continental feeder team Orbea (notice the Orbea-colored helmet he's wearing)
Oh yeah! The French Basque rider. How could i forget?

Nicely done by Silin. He's the other neo-pro with Katusha next year, besides Kritskiy

So, here's the bet:
When will Sicard be called the next French winner of Tour de France? |

Uh, I was typing a message when the Norwegian commentators suddenly started 'shouting' (a little). Apparently, some Norwegian dude came in in top 10 ...

The french probably won't do that. Sicard is with Orbea so he's almost universally distrusted by the french media. Their hope for a "squeaky clean french winner" is Le Bon, who isn't even 20 years old yet.
Le Bon jumped straight from juniors to pros midway through this year, riding just one under-23 race and immediately jumping to pros. He'll ride with Bretagne next year (he's a stagiaire this year)
