It doesn't say the age counts, but I'd guess that it might. Presume it does, and if it doesnt, then it's an added bonus.

Are you sure you filled the transfer sheet in properly?
I can't see how having signed Goss and Kirchen for 500,000 each you still have 2m for training.
Either you've done it wrong or I have. |

Mmmm, but if I put those deals in my transfer sheet and then add 18 x 50,000 domestiques, with 50k transfer fees I only have 2m in cash left.
You did change the excel sheet formulas didn't you?

yep I changed it. I had the starting budget 5.300.000, I think that you had lower
And I sent the sheet to SN and he didn't said that is wrong. That or he just didn't have a look at it
EDIT: 1.maybe we should move this to CT questions
2. wage is the salary not the transfer fee

Don't really now alexkr00's finances but he made 200k by selling me Ten Dam. Not bad business considering it was basically 200k free since he had only just signed him as a free agent and never had to actually pay him anything.

I don't think they've checked the transfer sheets yet - mine has not been downloaded yet. Don't know for definite though.
As far as I understand it, you pay a transfer of fee of 500,000 for Goss and you also have to pay 500,000 on top of that in wages.
For Kirchen the fee is 500k and the wage 318k.
That would put you under 2m in cash with a budget of 5.3 - which was the same as me. (with the 50k riders included).
That's the way I understand it anyway. Could be wrong. SN or Crommy would be able to confirm it.

yep without those 200k I would be under 2mil.
and fenian I just checked and all my wages,fees and remaining budget make a total of 5.500.000 which is the 5.300.000 that I started with and the 200.000 from stemple

Just checked fenian, and alexkr00 doesnt have to pay 500,000 twice for Goss. As a free agent, the amount you sign them for, is their wage for the year.

I think that fenian got it wrong with the free agents. For them you pay only the wage the transfer fee is 0 as they are free agents

So, I have a lot of money now to spend on training. 
I guess all the new managers will, as it'd be impossible not to if you sign mostly free agents. |

Don't forget you must deduct your riders salary from your starting budget....not just transfer fees. |
