Sporting, it was a joke by Dan_Grr
back when the news first came out, people kept posting that thinking it was new...so I just laughed at it and started posting "Devolder to Quick.Step" randomly anywhere as a joke
you might have been on vacation at the time

No, I remember it. But Dan Grr never puts any emotions in his post so its hard to tell if he is joking or being plain stupid

Paulinho (guest commentator for today on eurosport): "all that's left is to tie up a few small details, but I'll be riding for a top team working to win one of the grand tours. the team asked me not to reveal it's name just yet"
can you say "Astana"?

I'm just guessing really, but considering how much Vinokourov has praised Paulinho's "unbreakable fighting spirit" in the last few years, I'm thinking it's most likely them.
EDIT: also, according to Paulinho, Brajkovic already has a contract and it's not with T-Mobile

I saw Paulinho riding with a couple of guys last week. Small, tanned guy in the Discovery jersey. |

Johnathan Vaughters sent Jaons McCartney an offer in July. Now that McCartney is looking for a job he has re-sent the offer. So maybe the mystery rider to join the tema is McCartney

Van Goolen is in contact with Team CSC for the next season. When asked if Quickstep and Lotto were possible too, he said that both teams had informed they were filled up for the next season.
He's also negotiating with the continental team, Topsport Vlaanderen, but it seems likely that he will sign with CSC. But then again, it was also very likely that Lövkvist would sign with CSC and not T-Mobile |
