Fantastic stage! I love it! I started watching it with 130 kms to go (zapping with F1 a bit) and it was awesome. Perfect to see almost all Contador´s rivals are far from him (well, cobbled stage will be a tough one...).
Anyway, a fun detail. When Greipel was in the pódium for the Green Jersey, he tried to give three kisses to the stewardess, she only gave him 2, and the poor Greipel had some surprised face

Epic stage, stages like this one make the GTs for me, who cant stand it should go and wach darts or snooker really...
Great win for Greipel, Sagan with very surprising second.
Anyway great job from Peter after working for Contador earlier and puncturing inside final 20kms, looking good for green so far. Also Å tyby in the lead group is nice, maybe he can even attack yellow in two days together with Sagan or Thomas? Of cource there is still Spartackus, happy to see him in yellow.
Cavendish proving once more how stupid selfish prick he is.

Saxo going nuts on the front ,love it
103km to go..
if Giro Saxo survived..had a team first week..this time they are trying to beat that record..team who is empty after 4 days.
I remember same Tinkov tactics at other Tinkoff years..always in atack at the front..with several riders.
Way to early
lol, please just stop, you sound like a broken record which just wont stop, fuck me...
simple question..am I wrong?
Do you see a team Saxo ..who can control peloton at 3rd. week when needed?
We dont need to raise questions about you being laugable with your Tinkov hate. Seriously Guido you were great part of cycling discussions here for me, before you went 100% anti Saxo. Is it because of russians near doors of Estonia with their soviet thinking?

gg ASO, destroying the race with crap like this before it has even started.
What are you on about? This is GT racing, they are meant to be difficult and anyway how is the race destroyed?
I dont want to see GC riders lose the GC on some stupid rainy day in Holland, if I liked this kind of racing I would watch other races. I want all the GC guys to be close at the start of the mountains to fight it out there, not fight it out on a flat stage. With this kind of stage, as it turned out, most of GC riders lost the GC today. No way most of them are coming back. 1.30+ on Froome, forget about coming back. It just not happening. Its like peeing in your pants, it feels warm now, but its gonna stin until you get a shower and change.
Well if that's the thinking then they should just race on dead flat straight roads until it's time for the mountains, also if there is a chance of rain or wind or even if it's to hot then cancel the stage so no GC guys lose any time at all. There was nothing wrong with yesterdays stage or the cobbled stage coming up, it's a Grand Tour!

You are getting it all wrong..
Are you ever heard that I am critical about Katusha team or Astana (even when we all have reasons)?
It's all about Tinkov..faster this guy leaves cycling then better for us..believe me.
He is running cycling team like Richard Branson would. I have lot of money..I will manipulate ..threat..buy..sell..will not choose means to be successful. Maybe he likes cycling just to much.
I loved Saxo (Danish)team..despite Riis past.
My russophobia is Daily myth as much has Evans and Valverde are wheelsuckers..

Nope, im dead serious. Apart from a few stages in 2011, I havent seen him do anything aggressive. Especially early in his career |

Mendrisio in 2009 says he attacked more than just 2011, he also wasn't an attacking type of rider with a big kick but a diesel type. Play to your strengths I say and in that he certainly wasn't a wheelsucker I'm sorry to say

this is why I am not getting "same page" with you. Calling Evans a wheel sucker shows your low cycling knowledge iq...sry.
Use google man...if you do not know. It is so easy these days. |
