Guess Contadors sale value just went up...
Interesting to see the Spanish champion on the transfer market.

Good to see Gorka in the break. Equally good to see the AI working properly an not allowing the breakaway an easy rider. Grats to Contador and his team, even if he is leaving.

Nice for Conta to get that Spanish Jersey, of course he is powderpuff compared to Madrazo. Been a poor year really for the Spanish, their home tour getting sabotaged by a certain South American! CSC are the White light and seeming heavy interest from other Protour teams.

Couldn't really do anything about Contador in the RR, he was clearly the strongest, unforunate for Intxausti.
Guess i ended up rolling the lowest dices in the RNGTT race.

Take notes guys, that's how you stop the breakaway from winning.
Abal was never going to match Contador's acceleration.
Plaza's ITT win makes up for it. Plus, 1-2-4-5 That's amazing! Now, to keep Plaza or not to keep Plaza is the question. Hmm...

Riders in our jersey are on a roll today! Very nice to see Contador prove he's the best climber (of those racing) on such a course, and great that he finally got a win this season after having been a reliable through the whole season, always in the mix for a podium/top 5 in the PT races.
Thanks for the congratulation, TheManxMissile.
And thanks for the report, tsmoha, definitely an entertaining RR to follow |

Would've liked the Russian jersey, and I think I had a decent chance if Vorganov/Nikolaev decided to hunt the break instead of Efimkin... Still a good race by my team, nothing to really complain about.
Let's hope I'm more lucky in Uzbekistan, Greece and Lithuania (assuming Ula has 0 chance in Poland)

Damn it, really close again in Russia. We only have Lithuania left after this where we might have a chance with the break.

It's great to see Plaza still delivering. One of of the best riders I have ever had, no doubt about that.

Nice racing today. Shame the mid-race breaks didn't make it to the front in Russia, as last 10k would have then been a great big throw down for victory. Nutresa riders present and correct though (including Tinkoff loanee Chernetskiy who grabbed 5th having been in the BoTD). Didn't expect anything in the TT, so no surprises there.
Ibanez delivered the expected Bolivian TT title, then fought hard against a superior climber to just fall short of the RR title over a mountainous course. Exciting seeing him ride for himself, as he spent the majority of the season riding in the interest of others apart from a stand-out day in yellow way back in the early season Tour de San Luis. A dependable domestique, it is still 50/50 to be decided whether he will be riding in Nutresa colours in 2015. Certainly weighing in his favour is the opportunity to discover what marvellous creation aidanvn13 would come up with to top last years Bolivian national TT jersey:
(Since seen so infrequently this season, thought it deserved at least one more airing! ).

Disappointed by the team's performance, although it's not surprising Serebriakov didn't win the pack sprint.
Nevertheless would have been nice to see Kuznetsov winning.

I'd tend to agree, just got some new sponsors to represent. Aidan has already come up with a brilliant evolution for our main jersey that is receiving final finishing touches - sure Ibanez's jersey theme can remain very similar, but will he stay?? He was a pretty dependable domestique when riding for you (3 GT's in a year is impressive ), that theme has continued since he joined us from Pendletons for this season. Only if transfer season goes brilliantly well do I in reality see him departing!

Lots of Weak national champions, it is difficult for teams who move up the divisions to keep some of these guys. Hard decision really because cosmetically national jerseys can be really nice to have.
The mountain course is giving some interesting results. A shame Amador didn't get that jersey he is a massive Costa rican star.
Ignatiev TT fail again

Bakari
This is pretty awesome.
Did he win a NC before?
Edit: Apparently yes as reigning champion...

First time he has ever crossed the line first!
Last year he won the NC title thanks to being in the breakaway while Anguilet wasnt, but finished a distant 4th out of the break of 4.

No jersey for Brenes, had a hope until I read the break, have to admit I just skipped to the result after that :-p
Even more expected no jersey for Kovalev, would've tried to get a ransom from Oleg if he had won that jersey :-p
