I hear he's been sacrificed by Chris Horner to grant him eternal youth. Can you confirm or deny these rumours?
In some ways you're not too far off

Is that 15th in P-R and RvV now? That's actually not bad, good job Degenkolb |

I'm just hoping that Feunard isn't involved

@Bikex: I'm kinda happy to see that the stats I gave Löwenherz deliver exactly what I wanted him to be: A rider always looking for the breakaway and then maybe helping his teammates later on. A true fighter, the austrian Jens Voigt. I think he's alongside Heimdal Hägg the only true fighter custom rider we have in EPIC? 2 out of 2 possible breakaways are at least a sign that hopefully he will continue this attitute of racing.
@mvhoogdalem: No worries. But seeing as Ronde and Paris-Roubaix are two of the biggest races I wanted to make them rather too big than too short.

I thought the result of Paris Roubaix seemed fair. Cancellara killed himself with his attacks and work. Im not sure about PCM13 but Langeveld has good cobble stats in the PCM11 DBs. I mean, he is a dutch classics specialist. Kinda like an old Lars Boom.

@ LLS - Have you ever seen Cancellara in a classic?
@ Atlantius - Did you miss the tour of Flanders last year? Because, yeah, Fabian was worked over and still put over 1'20 into everyone in the last 10 KM. Might well be different in 2014, but we are using a 2013 database so we should see a similar result.
Taking everything into account: (Including random fitness)
' Irl Langeveld has 2 top 10 finishes in classics over 200 KM, the best place being 7th'.
Cancellara has won 6 yes 6 yes 6 monuments...... That is quite a difference.
Meaning the only ways Langeveld, at this stage in his career, should be able to better Cancellara is through:
- An early break succeeding
- Cancellara crashing out/ injuring.
Neither events occurred which suggests one or more of the following:
- Random fitness was on
- PCM have designed a game with huge gameplay flaws, once again.
- The stats are not balanced enough
That is pretty much the crux of it. |

PCM and Real Life are kinda different. And Langeveld came 2nd so he beat other guys as well, who are not complaining.

Calm down The Rider
It's PCM after all, and Cancellara got tired after following all those attacks.
No random fitness is on(I believe in Shonak) and stats aren't bad either(though not fully balanced anymore after all those custom riders )

I get it in my career as well, the more top riders you have on cobbles, the more Cancellara loses. Whenever he attacks, the rest brings him back, while in RL, only one or two riders can try.
But damn, this Paris-Roubaix was so awesome, I wouldn't mind that happening in a few months
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

No, random fitness was not active.
Langeveld just really rode smart. He saved energy as much as possible during the entire ride (I never ever took notice of him until the attack!), while Spartacus was punching around like a mad-man, like a drunkard not willing to pay the price in the bar. When Langeveld attacked, he just was the first to react to Boonen and countered Boonen's bold move basically. The others either were too late (there were a lot of attacks happening at that point) or too weak. And even then he just wheelsucked at Boonen, which is why he could outsprint Boonen so close, who had put in much, much more effort during the entire race. This could never happen IRL, but well - when you catch the right attack you have a great chance of finishing higher than people expect of you in PCM.

Brabantse and Gold Race startlist are out, after which it's Trentino, FLecha and LBL. Giro will be in the round after that
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I'll hopefully post a preview for the Gold Race this week end, with the race itself to come soon after the Brabantse Pijl.
Also, not everyone posted the planning as I asked, twice. Thanks to those who did actually read and follow my request. Of the GoldRace participants obviously

Have some faith in me Whenever I get the startlist I'll get right on it but the reporting will start on schedule.
