The Hobbit - Hmm... Interesting theory. Except that this happened a month after meeting her
It probably took some time to earn his false trust before she convinced him to go out on a ride, laid tacks on the road, waited till he fell, performed the deed, then dragged his body into a nearby ravine. Everything had to be planned etc etc.
+1
As an alternative, has anyone investigated on the road of the accident to look for suspicious items?

baia - No camera on the helmet. Do real life cyclist have that?
duxili - Indeed, very unfortunate...
The Hobbit - Aha, the plot thickens. I didn't know Hitchcock was directing my story
Atlantius - You could say that. And that's a long fall down. |

Marseillaise Madness - Part IV Of all the people Michelle was the last one on my list I thought would show up here.
"Why are you here?"
"Would you just hear me out?"
I didn't want to hear it, but nevertheless I listened to her story.
"...so sorry... didn't know... want to be friends..."
After she was done, she left.
Maybe I should forgive her?
Argh, I don't have time for this.
Just when I thought this, another reporter found his way into the tent.
It was madness, absolute madness.
Hi everyone,
I suppose you all heard what happened. The two news items found their way onto my blog, I guess Becca did that.
Anyway, I'm home now. I spend an additional two weeks in the hospital, but I'm alright now. Tomorrow I get back on the bike.
My form is so low, my condition is ruined. I will not make the Dauphiné, the National Championships nor the Tour de France. I will need months to get back at my previous form. But the main thing is that it's possible. Things could've gone terribly wrong.
So what do I have left this season?
Well, I will make the Vuelta my main goal. I believe, if I work hard, I can return to my former form and condition just in time for the Vuelta. There are quite some mountain stages there, so who knows what's possible.
I'm quite sad to miss the Tour, but I'm lucky to be alive.
However, if I want to make something of my season, I will have to focus. My blog will stay quiet for months now, sorry for that.
Right before I make my comeback in the peloton, I will post an update on all World Tour races and the National Championships.
I'll see you in a few months,
Henry
PS Thanks for all the support from the fans, really appreciate the cards, flowers... |

It's good to hear from you, Henry. But this horrible crash won't defeat you. Take all the time you need and come back stronger than you ever were!

Hey,
This is the longest I have not seen my computer ever. The last few months I've been training and building up form. I must admit it has been a hard few months, with some low points. What hurt the most was not being able to defend my national jersey. I had to say goodbye to that jersey, at least for now.
But now, two weeks before the start of the Vuelta, I can safely say I'm at the height of my powers. My last test result came out extremely positive, reaching higher wattage than ever before.
All I need is some race rhythm, which I will get at the Vuelta a Burgos. Then it's on to the Vuelta a España.
You probably know what's been happening during my absence, but I'll post some winners after all.
Ronde Van Vlaanderen: Jurgen Roelandts (Kristoff: 4th)
Paris - Roubaix: Tom Boonen (Kristoff: 4th)
Tour of Basque Country: Alberto Contador (Poels: 14th)
Amstel Gold Race: Alejandro Valverde (Poels: 9th)
Flèche Wallonne: Peter Sagan (Poels: 9th)
Liège - Bastogne - Liège: Joaquin Rodriguez (Devenyns; 13th)
Giro d'Italia: Bradley Wiggins (Thomas Carpenter: 5th!!!)
Citigroup won the opening Team Time Trial and wore pink for two stages.
Critérium du Dauphiné: Bradley Wiggins
Tour de Suisse: Rui Costa (Roche: 5th)
Tour de France: Chris Froome (Poels: 6th)
San Sébastian: Rui Costa
France: Hivert (RR), Chavenel (TT)
Belgium: Boonen (RR), De Gendt (TT)
Italy: Nibali (RR), Boaro (TT)
Spain: Rodriguez (RR), Castroviejo (TT)
Germany: Schulze (RR), Martin (TT)
USA: Howes (RR), Van Garderen (TT)
Great Britain: Millar (RR), Froome (TT)
Colombia: Betancur (RR), Henao (TT)
Portugal: Cardoso (RR), Oliveira (TT)
The Netherlands: Mollema (RR), Boom (TT)
Citigroup has only one National Champion: Kristoff (Road Race)
Le Bon and Offredo are rumoured to join our team next season. Let's hope the rumours are true, they are both strong, talented riders!
Well, I'll see you in the Vuelta a Burgos, and then it's time for my second Vuelta. I would've liked to start at the Tour, but that don't mean I'm not motivated for the Vuelta. I've been away from racing so long, I miss it tremendously. I want to perform well!

Good to see Henry has recovered!
Looking for him racing and doing as good in the Vuelta as Thomas in the Giro

anderspcm - I hope to get in a great vuelta to make up for lost time
duxili - Yeah, Thomas was a real surprise. I never expected him to do so well in Italy. If Henry can do that in the Vuelta, all is good again
Thanks everyone, no more updates today! |

Woah, 5th in Italy is amazing by Thomas!
Purito @ L-B-L
Since Hobbit has already declared some theories: I think SKY caused the accident by Henry because they were afraid he'd break their Grand Tour dominance.

sutty68 - I agree, thanks
Shonak - Yeah, Thomas surprised friend and foe there. Renewed his contract right away! Hmm, that theory gets stuck in the fact that Wiggins is now Cannondale |

Terrible news, but soon he will bounce back. The deeper the fall, the higher the bounce!
About real life cyclists using camera on the helemt, I don't know how they do it in France and spain etc. But in Norway many are using it, me included cause noone respects the cyclists here. There is a "war" between cyclists and cars since the cars doesn't want us on the road. Many cars is using their washer fluid (?, doesn't know the enlgish word, so might be wrong) when they drive past us just to irritate us. One car once drove past me, just to stop right in front of me so I had to turn out of the road and into the ditch. I have also got a side mirror in the back...
The camera on the helmet is the only way to prove something if Ie nd up in an accident. Also people doesn't do stuff like that when they see that you have a camera on your helmet before driving past you.

No, no, no it was like this: Pinot, Rolland and Bardet conspired against Henry, because they wanted to stay the top french riders.
