Tony Martin impressive. He has destroyed Wiggins and Cancellara.

This.
Well done Martin, the best timetrialist of the moment by far.

Martin sets fastest ever average speed in WC ITT history. Also would have finished sixth in the TTT.

Amazing ride by Quaade. Is there any reason why he doesn't ride for a top team, because he's always up there in TT's?
Shocking ride by Dowsett, his form has dropped off a cliff in the last month.

Fourth. The TTT was 700 metres shorter. Maybe 10 seconds slower than Sky.

He was sick during the ToB, not sure if that was still a factor.

I think he doesn't dedicate full to road.

Dowsett in interview afterwards clearly gutted. Not sure why he went so bad other than 12 days off the bike pre ToB but for whatever reason no power there today.

According to my calculations, Tony would have posted 1:04:50 in the TTT, which puts him 34 seconds down on OPQS and 11 seconds down on Sky.

Probably more because he can't find a level anywhere near this in ordinary races. He just can't seem to find his way around a peloton...

Sporza.be always does a poll before important events and afterwards compares the results of the poll with the results of the race. I love how the headline of the article regarding the WC ITT is: "You knew Martin would become world champ." Who didn't?

So Quaade does nothing all year, gets beaten by few U23 in TT week ago, and now gets 6th
Kiyrenka is just such a beast.
Martin expectedley takes it very easily, great win for likeable rider. Good battle for 2nd, still doesn't really matter.
