First impressions: I've played the first Tour stage and the Ax3 - Domaines stage. The first stage is the usual stuff, nothing new to be reported, but the Ax-3...... IT'S EPIC. I had a lot of fun playing in the mountains, it's just so cool. Now, i'm going to explore the career mode. |

Can someone try playing Stage 19 (Le Grand Bornand) of the Tour for me?
It keeps crashing when loading for me.

So far I have played the Tour of Flanders with OPQ and Alpe Du Huez stage with Sky.
Deployed same tactic on both, set a high pace on the front to create a select group. Won with Boonen at the Tour of Flanders after attacking Cancellara with 7kms to go.
On the Alpe Du Huez stage I had my team on the front with Uran protecting Froome from the first ascent up Alpe Du Huez, trimmed the group down to roughly 25 riders. on the second ascent manges to trim it down again to 9 riders before putting Uran on the front and attacking with Froome which only Contador could follow, before attacking again 3kms before the line and winning
Loving this game so far

Well just had some awesome fun playing a one off vuelta..
Picked Sky and the 9 best climbers... Goal: Make all sprinter abandon
Result: All Sprinter (apart from Sagan, Rojas and Ventoso) had abandoned by Stage 12. Managed to shake out Ventoso by the end of the race, as around 100 riders made it to the finish...
My fears that the Mountain AI had gone too far the other way have been partly confirmed
Will do the same in a Career mode Giro tonight to see if can beat that

Well, which idiot enters a GT with the goal to make all sprinters abandon?
And which idiot sends his 9 best climbers to the Vuelta, especially if Sky?!
But I get your point TMM

Not sure whats wrong then.
The filesize is 8,759 KB for the zces which doesn't seem like its corrupt then.

I hear some people saying the career mode is unplayable. Could someone please elaborate on this?

Issues with budget, rider satisfaction, goal negotiation and mostly crashes are the main ones i believe

If you're talking about what I think are, he's using the realistic filter....which is No filter (And de-saturated colors)

The only one I'm having, and it's huge, is rider satisfaction. Doesn't matter that you give them the exact objectives they demand with no negotiation...they'll still be very unhappy after 2 months of the season

I played a few flat stage as Euskatel, and almost every time the breaks makes it to the finish. I didn't helped chasing because Cavendish and Greipel had there team there too.

Disable motion blur and ramp up the antialiasing. |
