GP Mediterraneen
A quick preview
Sponsor goal: ***Stage win(s)***
Director's Goal: *Top 30 GC*
The team looks really strong. Scogin is coming off of his GP Besseges run, and is in the rhythm again. Bauer was powerful in training, so we hope for some sprint finishes where he is involved. Kelders looks strong, but who knows what will happen if he gets too giddy. Zolderman, the friendly teammate, is going to help Scogin to victory when he can. Betancur looks very menacing, and we'll see if he beats his brother Carlos. Betancur is a serious threat for a Top 20, along with Scogin.

Stage 1
Zimine jumps out to start the breakaway.
Poulhies and Lander quickly accelerated to bridge the 25" gap.
Finally, D. Quintero joins up, and the BOTD is formed.
At 71km away, Pery picks up the pace, as the gap stretches to a massive 8'31".
And he gets some help 10 kilometers later. The gap is reduced to 5'19".
As the gap comes under 3 minutes again, the Betancur brothers are side by side and having a little chat.
4 kilometers left, and Poulhies attacks! He has 28", and there is a staggered remaining of the members from this morning!
2800 meters, and Poulhies is caught. The sprint winds up...
500m. Baden Cooke has the lead, and Davis launches with Bouhanni!
100 meters for Davis, and Haussler is right there!
But Davis holds on! Victory for Allan Davis!

5 Worst Spam Subject Lines
Written by Sue Walsh on July 28, 2011
Spam volumes may be showing a downward trend but there’s still plenty of it pouring into our inboxes. The subject lines are supposed to get us interested enough to open the message, but more often than not, thanks to the fact many spammers are located overseas and have an extremely poor grasp of the English language, they make us chuckle or shake our heads. Here’s a look at some of the worst:
1. “Report. Your Tax Payment ID: 010332117 has been failed.” Aside from the horrendous grammar, just how does an ID fail, and what did it fail? This is obviously from a phishing attempt but no one who has successfully graduated 3rd grade would fall for it.
2. “??????? ??? ?????, ??????? ????? ????????? ?? ??????” Took a lot of creativity to come up with that one, huh? It’s from a spam message advertising fake college degrees for sale.
3. “Make your ****.003 inches longer!” Hmm. I’m sure you can guess what it’s selling, however if that’s all you get it must be a very poor product. I’m not a male, but I’m guessing that promise isn’t very enticing to anyone who is!
4. “Maintain your weight, amputate!” Well sure, I guess losing an arm or leg would make you weigh less, but it seems a bit drastic. This was from a spam message advertising diet pills.
5. “After Theolia – Bull – Is coming!” I’m not sure what that means or what it was hawking. Since the message it was attached to contained just a URL generated by a url shortening service (which I did not click on), I am guessing it lead to a malicious domain of some sort.
Subject lines like these should tip off just about anyone who gets them that they are spam, but sad to say there are still people that fall for them, either out of ignorance, naïveté or because they let their curiosity get the best of them!

NEWS
And it seems as if contracts become complicated early! RadioShack and SKY are in a fierce battle to sign Haimar Zubeldia. SKY recently went public with an offer of €56.000 for three years to Zubeldia. Zubeldia said "I am not sure what to do, but I do like the RadioShack guys."
Also in contract news, Peter Sagan has chosen to stay at Cannondale, with a new, €90.000 contract.
Team U25 is in the termination of their contract with PCM.Norge for the end of the year. Nic Hashir is reviewing the options in front of him, but the front runner for the new team sponsor is said to be Citigroup Financial, with PCM.Norge not looking to renew unless the development program's effectiveness increases.

@Jesley: Anderspcm has to good a pack to let slide, they have to at least be thought of.
@Selwink: It may seem so, but the team does need sponsorship.
@cio93: No problem, he just lost Bouhanni's wheel because we didn't need a train.
