Whatever you think about him, he has won.
And untill it's there black on white that he has doped he's the winner.
I really can't stand this type of people who can't stand him and act like he's the worst form of a human being that there will ever be.
I hate it, I'm out. Have fun guys. Let's all pretend nothing has ever come up about his personality and praise his greatness, will we ?
All right he HAS doped. Does it mean he always lies, he always buys races from other people? No, if it was like that why isn't he suspended?
@roturn. I know, and it's totally your choice to be for whoever you want to be But some people here are really pretending to be psycologists who now him personally and studied him for years. That is something i can't stand.
He didn't "just" dope, he also bought a victory from Kolobnev and said he ll end his carrer to not get a ban and then all of a sudden was back to racing. also he never had any kind of regret after what he did, so you cant say we know nothing about him |

I won't quote because I'm tired of these pyramids, but Wiggo's first language is English so it can't be him. |

Also I thought it was particularly nice to see so many riders congratulating Vino on the line... and the crowd to cheer Fabian home too. The Olympics is always special.
People are angry that 'Rider X' won a cycling race. Lol. |

Hating is a big word, it's just pro cycling, I couldn't care much less.
What if facts were balanced, and it appeared that, despite a couple of good aspects, Vino is really a bad character.
Would it be ok (in your eyes) to dislike him then ? |

VINO!
Greatest non-Norwegian Olympic moment for me ever!
Incredible ride by Kristoff as well. Forget the sprints, he's a future classics man.
Fantastic race, compared to the expectations. I'd love to see more Vino wins, but I won't blame him if he makes this the last race of his carreer. What a way to bow out.

I love Vino because of his riding. Honestly, I dislike Kolobnev the most because of the money scandal. It shows he has less passion and is willing to take the money over a huge achievement in his career.
Doping, well many riders did, and still do. I cant despise him for that, although he does seem to be someone that would lie/cheat to get what he wants, and that is a negative about him imo.

LL Sánchez says that he and valverde did nothing in the last kilometres (after Castroviejo had ridden his ass off for both) because they didn't know who had to work for who.

Those are true yes, but what everybody suggests now is that he again bought a victory, and in my eyes that is a conspiracy. or at least some a made up story. |

So, what is more expensive to win, LBL or the Olympics?

Watching the race, this is my opinion.
Positives:
- Vinkourov, who was the smartest one today.
- Uran, great job, but learned a very important lesson in the last 300 metres....
- Kristoff, good sprint for the bronze
- All the countries that wanted to prevent a mass sprint, giving us an entertaining race.
- The sportmanship in the peloton, with so many riders congratulating Vino.
Negatives:
- Team GB, they learned that to control a 240km race with 5 riders is impossible.
- Germany and Australia, who helped GB to late (okay, Australia had O'Grady in the leading group).
- The broadcasting was bad. Few time gaps given, switching between cameras to often making us guess a lot who was riding where.
- All the people who immediately start shouting and disliking Vino. Im no fan of him, but I love his attacking racing and he deserved the win today, so it's unfair to keep talking about his past (oh, does this mean that Team Sky isn't doping anymore, except Uran?)
