Oscar Freire is in the front group. Ballan, Gesink and Kroon also. It's going to be one hell of a ride. |

Andy? Don't think so.
Dekker -- look out for him. When even Boogerd is working for him, he must be feeling well. |

109km - The Dutch have stopped pulling in the peloton as the gap continues to creep up.
109km - Bobby Julich, Jens Voit, Damiano Cunego, Juan Antonio Flecha, Alessandro Ballan, Sandy Casar, Kim Kirchen, Marcus Burghardt, Robert Gesink and Philippe Gilbert are some of those in the lead group.
110 - 1'45" is the latest split. The gap continues to grow.
114km - The Italians seem happy with Ballan in there, Gessink and Kroon are in there for the Dutch - though would they be satisfied with that? Six laps to go!
117km - The news that Oscar Freire is in the front group is likely to provoke worries in the peloton. The Dutch are towing them along, though seem to be wondering quite how they have missed the break again.
119km - I stand corrected. It looks like there are two Spaniards in the breakaway - among them Oscar Friere! And in the peloton, the Dutch have started chasing again.

I also don't think it was Freire there, he wouldn't be so stupid to risk going all out now. They also made a mistake spelling Gesink. |

For my fellow countrymen: Hugo Sabido, Barloworld rider, was in the front group a while ago, before Eurosport cut the broadcast to show the women's football world cup. |

I think it's a shame the Netherlands team had to do most of the work in the peloton, as no one seems to care. I also hope the front group is reeled in, because it's a massive 30 something group, and that's just too dangerous. |

Thing is, the Dutch go to the front and start pulling, all the other teams let them get on with it. Unfortunatly thats the way it works |

104km - This is a highly tactical affair. Marcus Burghardt is at the front of the lead group now as they come to the end of lap 9. They have been on the road for 4 hours 18 minutes.
And I'm off to lunch. |
