Excellent TTT by Rabobank
Only lost 12 seconds to the winner and less than 7 seconds to all the rest.
And they finished with their entire team which indicates they could have gone faster if they were prepared to drop some guys.
Plus Gesink wins time on Sanchez, Basso and Vandenbroeck and loses almost nothing to other possible candidates like Evans, Leipheimer/Klöden or Tony Martin

Agree with Ruben... Rabo was the big winner today after BMC...
Gesink could go for podium I think... Evans is always having a day off, and Sammy Sánchez is already too far behind. Van Den Broeck is a big questions mark for me really.

Also, it's kind of lame that the Schlecks did almost no work in the TTT. Nice team leaders |

Well, isn't that what "team leader" implies?
Having the whole team working for their perfect result?
They did the best they could do. Relaying more could have meant that the team had to slow down the last kilometres to prevent Andy from being dropped. Saving energy for the end was the strategy.

still..It is lame.
When we look leaders and how they ride a TTT at the past..most active..doing lot of work..shortly..leaders.
Or today ..Evans..making turn..coming back to the line at the third spot..pulling another turn. Pulling a final uphill km. Getting a medicore TT team..terrific result. This was a leader

The likes of Evans, Sammy Sanchez, Conta, Van Den Broeck, Wiggins, Basso?
They do because they can.

I really doubt that Guido
In Basque Tour Andy went full (i saw his documentary this week where he explained) and there he lost 1 minute on Gesink on 24km.
Your word might have been true 2 years ago or last year. But I don't think Andy's TT is as good as Gesinks.
Doesnt matter tho. Andy will gain 1 minute per mountain on him unfortunately
I still hope to see him suck as my dislike for Leopard grows with the day.

And because they don't have Cancellara. Leopard has a really strong team for the TTT, and they were able to ride fast without Andy or Fränk helping.
No need to take any risks, when they don't have to.

Gesink and his team went much better than expected. He is definatly on the winners list.
And NORSPEED is probably still screaming of joy

Evans is a boss, and a real bike racer. He's got my support this tour.

What would you in place of Leopard's directeur sportif? I bet F. Schleck was already struggling a lot behind Spartacus. And not much better for Andy. And if they do some turns I guess they would only slow down the train. |

Frank schleck hit a camera that broke his visor cutting his nose and swallowed a bee that stung him after 5km. He was definetly struggling and deserved rest at the back. |

If you wouldn't be surprised by that, I recomend you be the first guy to put his entire life savings on it. It should be a pretty good investment.
