Why are you still watching this, when Suisse is on it's final climb?

Sammy Sanchez is on the list for top 5 riders at the Tour for me.
I guess the top 2 is a given, and then I think Gesink, Sanchez and then someone else to complete top 5. Hopefully Kreuziger, if riding. Unlikely though

Don't have Eurosport 2 and refuse to use streams. I'll download and watch later

Another big win for measured Internet discourse...

Glad that Wiggins has secured the GC, and managed to put in a performance to show the 09 TDF wasnt a complete fluke. Time will tell if he is peaked now, or just simply climbing better than last year, would be nice if he could manage a Top 10 in the TDF - even with the relative lack of time trials.

What a punch from Purito. Nobody was even close of following him. That was impressive. Looking forward to see him at the Vuelta.

issoisso, what's your opinion about Sky for the Tour de France? Wiggins or Urán for the overall classification?

Personally I think Sky will go in the race with Wiggins as the GC leader. And after first week see where he stands. If he is going to loose loads of time in first week Uran will be then the leader. But if he is riding well with similar form like here, Wiggins is going to stay Sky's leader. Depends how he feels before the Tour.

I think they might be going as a shared leadership, where they look at what they will gain the most from... If Wiggins is in it for the podium or top 5, then they will go for him, but Uran won't be giving his all for Wiggins before they know for sure that it's a possibility. I suppose they would rather have Uran getting 9th and winning the white jersey than Wiggins getting 7th and Uran being put way back, in order to help.

I think that it's a combination of both facts. He is climbing better than last year, and I'm pretty sure he's peaked for the Dauphiné. And I'm glad he has, winning a Dauphiné is much better than finishing the Tour 7th. That's something some other riders have yet to learn. |

Too bad for Rui Costa today, btw... Losing 20minutes or so, when he was looking able to claim a top 10.

Gesink only did volume training in Sierra Nevada. The intensity training is saved for St. Moritz, after the Dauphine. Kinda suprised this was good enough already after Rodriguez (who is clearly in super form atm).
Good to see him not going fully for the gc for once tho. Save the energy for the TDF.

That's not impressive. One of my eurosport commentators said that if Farrar isn't going to the Tour, that young gun, Andreas Klier might get a chance to show what he is capable of in the sprints.
That's awesome.
Also, the idiot keeps referring to "Danny Garderen" (yes, it's TJ)

Wow Purito really made justice to his nickname. What an acceleration!!
Nice triumph for Wiggins too.
?
This is a "Purito":
Also, congrats Wiggins. Maybe he'll smile for once
Yeah I know. I was refering to the way he earned it. With an acceleration like that he could have had a cigar before crossing the line.

Just noticed - Evans was 2nd for the 4th time in the past 5 years. |
