Thank you guys
Depart in Lucera, forget to take a screenshot.
The early group in Campobasso. The rider: Mikhaylo Khalilov (Katusha), Peter Velits (Colombia), Jonas Aaen Jørgensen (SaxoBank), Christophe Brandt (Omega Pharma), Björn Schröder (Milram) and the leader of the points ranking, Robert Hunter (Garmin).

We have to admit that we did nothing on todays relay work, Lampre and Liquigas were the teams which make the pace today.
Sulmona.

Mikhaylo Khalilov (Katusha) 1
Another attack from Nibali, 29km to go.
Brandt; +1'18" Nibali; +1'30" Khalilov, Hunter; +1'56" P.
And the white jersey lost contact to "Gruppo Maglia Rosa". With his bad day form, Tiago Machado seems not able to hold the pace in the front group and drops... Is this the end of our GC domination?
Nibali, Basso; +16" Garzelli; +33" Gruppo Maglia Rosa; +1'20" Gruppo Maglia Bianca.
10km. Tiago will definately lost his jersey today.
The sprint in the front group starts. The Liquigas boys and Cunego in front.
Victory goes to the top favourite for today, Damiano Cunego. Have I ever mentioned that I hate uphillsprints? Just like the stage to Terminillo, Basso, Cunego, Nibali and Sánchez can create a gap of 22 seconds... Only the bug that hilly stages have no money, points or time bonifications at the finish beware us for losing La Maglia Rosa.
Sérgio did his best, but he was not able to close the gap. He finish 6th btw, Levi 19th.
Gruppo Maglia Bianca came in, 3'01" behind Cunegp. Well, we can say "Good bye" to the jersey and the third in the overall.

Why ever, we still have the first and second place hare. But if we lost always 30 seconds on hilly/mountain stages, we will not hold the jersey until Verona.

Thank you all Ok, we still have the lead, but I get worried about the mountain stages which are coming... Especially Nibali and Basso seems to be on fire. Our only hopes are the time trial at the last day and that Levi, Sérgio and Tiago have perfect shapes (95-97) and still an excellent recovery...
20. May
With his great rides in Italy, old Óscar Freire , whose contract expires after this season, get some attention. Omega Pharma-Lotto declares him as their transfer priority for 2011.
Tour of California
Stage 5: Visalia - Bakersfield, 213,9 km
It will be an interesting stage. The experts predict a bunch sprint for today, but with the steep Old Stage and the little hilly circuit at the end, it would be possible that the sprinter get tired and that could be the chance for an allrounder with decent sprint abilities, like Yaroslav.
Team goals:
- Top 10 (Popovych)
- No time loss (Armstrong, Klöden, Brajkovic, Zubeldia)
Favorites: Tyler Farrar, Allan Davis, Mark Cavendish, Gerald Ciolek, André Greipel.
My tip: If the stage ends in a bunch sprint, I can not imagine another winner as Tyler Farrar. Or a Rabobank rider, knowing that the stage is presemted by Rabobank.

As baia said, good luck.
Lets hope many of the sprinters tire on the hills.

Thank you guys Lets see if I could beat the great performance of Duarte in the DarkDog-Story:
Depart in Visalia.
Lindsay.
The early group, including Lars Boom (Rabobank), Servais Knaven (Milram), Anthony Colby (Jelly Belly), Jonathan Clarke (UnitedHealthcare), Markus Burghardt (BMC), Greg van Avermaet (Omega Pharma), Ross Creber (Endura Racing), Russell Hampton (Sprocket), Tucker Brown (Jamis), Guy East (Kelly Benefit) and Haimar Zubeldia (RadioShack)! Well, after the first 20km nobody attacked, so Haimar decided to use this chance for an attack.
Spoiler
Haimar Zubeldia (RadioShack) 6
Lars Boom (Rabobank) 4
Servais Knaven (Milram) 2
Porterville.
Haimar used his breakaway for gaining time, with success. After the two intermediate sprints, he already had 12 seconds gain.
Spoiler
Haimar Zubeldia (RadioShack) 6
Russell Hampton (Sprocket) 4
Lars Boom (Rabobank) 2
Old Stage.
Hampton and Brown dropped from the other breakaway riders.
Group Zubeldia; +31" Hampton, Brown; +9'36" Peloton.
Spoiler
Markus Burghardt (BMC) 6
Haimar Zubeldia (RadioShack) 4
Anthony Colby (Jelly Belly) 2
As expected, especially Garmin and Astana set the pacemakers for the pack today.
Round Mountain.
Group Zubeldia; +4'08" Hampton, Brown; +4'52" Peloton.
Spoiler
Markus Burghardt (BMC) 5
Greg van Avermaet (Omega Pharma) 3
Anthony Colby (Jelly Belly) 1
The front group reach the hilly circuit - and the pack almost caught them.
10km to go. The last desperated attacks... With no success. We can looking forward to a sprint of a selected group with 62 rider (Why ever, even Farrar, Davis, Ciolek and Cavendish survived).
5km left. Cavendish and Ciolek have to fight not to lose contact to the bunch, it seems that they can not get a good result today.
Quite funny sprint, which started with 2,6km. Maxim Iglinsky in front as lead-out man for Allan Davis, Tyler Farrar and Yaroslav Popovych in his slipstream.
WTF? Allan Davis accelerated and were away! No chance for Farrar or Popovych to beat him... (Why he is not in Italy? Astana still have no succes there) Another interesting fact: Tyler Farrar seems to struggle, and Yaroslav accelerated, in hope for the second place! Can he beat the points jersey?
Allan Davis is the deserved stage winner today, amazing performance by him.
RadioShack can celebrate today either! Yaroslav Popovych beats Farrar(!) in fight for the second rank
Andreas Klöden finished 11th, Lance Armstrong 21th today.

Ive been noticing something. The breaks are always 6+ riders with the daily db but with FCM its almost never 6+ riders in the break. Or is that the difficulty setting?

@valverde321
Thats interesting... I never played with FCM, maybe I should test it. I play on hard, I do not know if that have an impact on the early groups.
@tsmoha
Thanks Yeah, knowing that Popovych is a decent time trialer, maybe he has a good chance
@lluuiiggii
I do not know why, hes impressive Well, it seems that Davis and Farrar have already a good shape, they always keep on the hills and recover until the finish... Maybe we should try to set a higher pace.
Giro d'Italia
Stage 12: Città Sant'Angelo - Porto Recanati, 190km
Todays stage lead us through a few locations we already had at Tirreno-Adriatico. Its quite flar, and we can expect a bunch sprint. But with the Potenza Picena, it will be quite interesting, knowing that a few sprinter can burn out there.
Team goals:
- Top 10 (Impey)
- Defend the leader jersey / no time loss (Leipheimer, Paulinho, Machado)
Favourites: Óscar Freire, Robert Hunter, Edvald Boasson Hagen, Francesco Ginanni, Danilo Napolitano
My tip: Óscar Freire, who has a quite good hill stat, will win today, but Hunter will be there to defend his points jersey.

that is interesting notice...I play with PCMdailyDB only and at least 10 riders are involved in most breaks...

18,3 km left. A few attacks in the group at the front, but they already know that their attempts will fail. The pack caught them 5km later.
And at the last climg today, the Potenza Picena, the peloton is in front. Daryl Impey, who have quite good legs today (Day form +4), still fell fresh. A good sign, maybe for the expected stage win^^
AND CRASH IN THE PELOTON. LA MAGLIA ROSA IS DOWN! Levi, Ben and a few other guys (only important is CUNEGO) falled. One rider, Rubén Pérez from Euskaltel, had to gave up with a patellar tendon tear, his comeback will probably in early July.
Back to the front. The sprint begin. At the left McEwen, in the middle we can see Hunter and his leadout, at the right Daryl, with Freire and Ginanni at his backwheel.
It seems that Hunter was to tired to keep up with these three guys! Francesco Ginanni accelerated out of the slipstream of Impey, Freire followed him and Impey get Impeys backwheel! And as we can see, Ginanni is a great lead out, they have a big gap to the fourth (Gasparotto).
400m. Óscar Freire now accelerated, and he showed that he is still one of the best sprinter in the world, his 3rd stage win in Italy is almost sure. Behind him Ginanni and Impey fight for the second.
While Óscar Freire celebrates his third stage win, Ginanni beats Impey just with a few centimeters... But still a great third for TheShack! But what happends to Levi?
He finished beside of Damiano Cunego (They look angry, I think), with the same time as Óscar Freire. We have luck, Levi has no injury (just like Hermans) and can defend the leader jersey.

I was shocked after the crash, but knowing Levi is alright, I think it is a very successfull stage for us. Espescially Daryl Impey makes me happy today

Good job with Impey and good that Levi was able to reach the front group again.
Hope he is really alright now and not losing much of time the next stages because of an unnoticed injury.
