It's a known bug. However, it's a "general" bug which is not caused by PCM Spain. Cyanide knows about the bug, but can't fix it, because they can't reproduce the bug. |

Thanks for the feedback and I was not trying to suggest the bug was Spain's fault. It is good to know I can play a career with a CT and just avoid the March calendar.
Now once I advance a year will the game still crash in March if I am in 2008? Also is this bug completely random? It would seem that the fact it only happens with CT teams and not PT teams would give Cyanide a good starting point.
Does this happen with all DBs when playing a CT?
Thanks for the feedback! |

It haven't been investigated if the problem appears in 2008, too. But we did a lot of testing on the issue in the beta forum of Cyanide, and the only thing which seemed to be common for all tests was that the bug only happens for users on the American continent - not for the rest of the world. And that's probably also the reason why Cyanide can't reproduce it.
And yes, I think it will happen with all DBs. For others, it does, but there have also been some exceptions. It's a really weird bug which is difficult to explain. |

I've got to give it to you, Dankan, even the bugs are original in this DB
probably a faulty install on my part, since nobody else reported it.

Hi
I have used the database for several weeks and I'm very happy!
Is there any chance that you in the pcm-crew, make later edition, as "PCM Spain 1.2" With even more teams, riders, national championships and scouting zones? |

something just isn't right. I've uninstalled the game several times (deleted the folder inside my documents plus application data, everything's patched to 1.0.3) and restarted several careers. every time the same problems:
1. a bunch of country flags are wrong. as in some I just see a pink square and others I just see the face of a rider;
2. the scouting zones are screwed up. pink squares all over the place (probably country maps that aren't loaded correctly) and if I mouse over one of them, I get a CTD;
3. the well publicised issue where I can't select the team for some smaller races.
(yes, I'm using the 1.1 fix)

I encountered similar problems for 1 and 2 and fixed it by making sure the right local.cdb was being used, but i guess youve probably tried that

I redownloaded the fix pack as it was quicker than downloading the whole thing.
Unpacked it.
Copied the UserHome directory and pasted it in the man PCM directory, overwriting what was already there.
I deleted the Cache and when I next played the game, the flags all worked and the scouting areas were back to normal.

doesn't work. still the same. which makes sense, since the same happens every time I install the game+PCM Spain+fix.
honestly, this is bugging me. especially because the game is unplayable with smaller teams...
just to make sure, where should I be downloading the fix from?

I've attached a Local.cdb. Extract it to the PCM-folder in Application Data.
The fix is available in a seperate package here: https://pcmdaily.org/pcm07/PackPCMSpai...07v1.1.ace |
