About tomorrow's road race, the UCI clearly have a sense of humour. For the second year running, Valverde's been assigned number 18....the same number that was on his Puerto blood bags

I already mentioned they don't have a clue
That's right, it's extremely irritating for us norwegians listening to commentators that have no clue and have very bad commentary voices |

Get eurosport player and switch to the swedish commentators then.

Eurosport player costs money But it's tempting coz than i would get commentators that actually know cycling

I haven't seen every minute of this race but what I've seen so far kind of reminds me of a cat V race here in the states in that someone will attack and everyone in the peloton wants to be in the break that could come from the attack, so everyone simultaneously follows the attack and you just end up getting a really strung out group for a little while.
Just my two cents

Henao, Sicard, Kreder, Castroviejo, Stetina and Kump are the favorites still in the front group. Doubt Kump can hang on till the end to unleash his sprint.

Very interesting move. Can they get the gap they need?

How far to go still?
This main chase group seems to not care at all, they're soft pedaling and spreading across the whole road on a regular basis.

Looks like Sicard's making it stick. He's a decent sprinter, but Kreder is as well and isn't doing any work so he's not tiring
Somewhere around 20kms to go

Wow, what happened there? They lost 25 seconds on the climb, looked about to be caught and suddenly gained it all back on the flat. Timing error?

Does Sicard have a pro contract for next year? I thought I remembered seeing somewhere that he signed with Cofidis but I wasn't sure.

Yes, he has a contract with Euskaltel. He currently races with Euskaltel's continental feeder team Orbea (notice the Orbea-colored helmet he's wearing)

I'd be mighty surprised to see Sicard lose this now.
