It looks really odd, capsing normal sentences, I don't want to get involved due to fears about how addictive it is.

Go back a few pages and you will see: Fuglsang!!! Gesink! "Contador, Evans is wheelsucking gesink!" And so on. Why do you say i'm the only one who's writing something when my favorited riders's doing something!?

ReschNicolai: You started the whole thing again today, by writing "Who said Contador didn't attack?", clearly showing you wanted a discussion again. |

It's not a question somebody shall answer. It's a rhetorical question, you know. Because I'm gald to se Contador attack.
And so see the comments to Ruben. Why dosen't nobody say something about his behavior?

I talk about a lot of other things than Gesink or Dutch riders. You ONLY talk about Contador all day long. I wonder if there is anything else in your life |

Well strangely enough it seems like you are the reason to Ruben behaving a bit differently. Before you started posting here I didn't have anything on him and quite frankly I think you're the only one who does.
But please cut this out guys. It's getting old.

Managed to get home to watch todays brief stage live coverage on eurosport - shame I could not get more of the Col D'Izoud.
Valverde is giving a good account of himself, he does have the ability to make the difference in a grand tour - though it has to be said Evans and Contador are keeping something back for the TdF. Valverde, often regarded as a good kicker has shown in the last two Dauphine's that he does have ability in a TT or a long attack on a mountain stage.
Of course, he will not be welcome at the TdF, which is probably a good thing. Though as usual with the Operation Puerto saga everything is being drawn out to the nth degree. I thought there was something supposed to have been done by today? CONI handed something to UCI?
Contador tested the water a bit more today - deciding a 1km kick was safe to have a go at without blowing his TdF chances! Evans and Valverde followed, but some of the 2nd tier ones like Gesink, Fuglsang and Nibali could not. I am interested to see if anyone has the ability to have a go at the Caisse D'Espange team tomorrow. I am assuming Evans and Contador are strictly in defensive riding mode (though I am finding it surprising to watch Contador in this mode). Valverde probably feels he has enough too... Would probably look for something from Liquigas, Rabobank or Euskatel.
Final note - great win for Fedrigo - clever and well taken stage victory, showing Bbox have another rider bar Voeckler!
From a British point of view its nice to see Millar climbing consistently. |

hmm i catch your drift - they are british so they are capable of anything
if garmin have institutionalized doping then there goes any hope of cycling being at least a little bit clean

Valverdw has, in addition to showing that he can climb and tt shown that he still sucks in GTs. The top 5 in Tour does not depend on Valverde riding or not.

At this point I am of course not suspecting anyone of anything. Just highlithing the fact that Millar inspite of severe failures where he proclaimed he would go for the GC in races like Paris-Nice, is suddenly climbing with the best. Hopefully he has just found the winning formula.

What do people think about todays stage?
Is it time for the real Contador - Evans battle to begin? Or will they let the 'Valv-Piti' Valverde take the glory?
I said yesterday that I was hoping to see something from the Rabos' or Liquigas or Euskutel. I stick by that the guys in orange from the basque seem to do well in this race and will no doubt carry high hopes into the Tour (and disappoint)!
I beginning to look at todays stage and think maybe Contador is going to launch himself here - that would be interesting to see if Evans can follow. |

So long as that formula wasnt just injected into him
I guess Millar must have done something differently though, while it's perhaps more plausible for Wiggins, in that focusing work over the winter on climbing, rather than track stuff, may have helped and allow him to perform better than he otherwise would have.
Ive got to say though that it's great to actually see Brits at the front in the mountains. If Giro/Dauhpine are not a one-off for Wiggins and Millar then it's going to be great, and in the Tour ill be able to play the game of 'Is the Brit still there?' in the mountain stages, without immediately saying no.
