What team will you choose
I don´t really know at this moment. I´m only sure it won´t be neither super strong (Astana, Saxo...) nor super weak (Energi Fyn...) team.
Then maybe Cofidis (or Ag2r)
Yes, Cofidis, FdJ or Bouygues are real possibilities. But it´s too early to bear about this. My Roubaix story story is still continuing... |

National Championships PART 2
French Championship - I had quite big expectations, but missed decisive attack and took only 7th and 10th places. Fedrigo rode first time after long break, he will be my leader for TdF starting next week.

Starting list is really strong, I have no rider comparable with main starts, so my personal goals must be modest. Stage win after succesfull breakaway would be amazing, but I would be satisfied with some podium place too. Maybe I could try to fight for polka dot jersey in early part of race, it would be nice to see some of my riders in this jersey. |

Stage 2
This is not typical flat stage, short hill with downhill into finish gives opportunity to puncheurs to fight for stage win.
Larpe participated in today´s break. Unfortunately group didn´t cooperate well and Larpe missed his chance to take KOM jersey. Belle (last man classified in finish) will wear polka dot jersey tomorrow.
Last mountain sprint, 6km to go.Moucheraud took some points. He could be my man in battle for polka dot jersey in next stages.
As expected sprint wasn´t cooperated at all, Gasparotto sprinted over unknown rider Sacha Modolo in last meters, saving sprinters reputation and warding off top sensation. Passeron took respectable 8th place.

Stage 3
Flat stage with some small hills, ideal chance to fight for KOM jersey.
Huge early breakaway group, Paul Moucheraud is here.
He fought bravely with Fukushima for polka dot jersey...both riders have same points, however Fukushima is new holder, shame.
Group was caught about 20km to go. Peloton went too fast, disabling Passeron from finish. Earliest it looked like easy win for Boonen, but it was O´Grady, who was first in the line!

Stage 4
Col de Peyresourde, Col d´Aspin, Col du Tourmalet...is it necessary to say more?
Col de Peyresourde, Paul Moucheraud is again in break and fights for polka dot jersey. Ballan, Calzati and Mate are another participants.
Pereiro, Soler and Rodas attack main pack in descent. Damn, asphalt is melted and deep here.
They have just caught leading group before Col d´Aspin summit.
Paul Moucheraud doesn´t surround yet, wins full points and secures KOM jersey for next stage. One of my personal goals is reached!!!
And here it is, Col du Tourmalet, one of most famous climbs at all. Ivan Basso launches attack first!
Carlos Sastre attacks few moments later.
Moucheraud´s miision is over, Basso flies past him. Soler, Pereiro, rodas and Calzati are still ahead, but only for a while.
Alberto Contador attacks!
Another attack, Menchov with Evans are trying their luck at the tunnel.
Di Luca joins them. Situation is as follows: Basso - Sastre - Contador - Menchov, Di Luca, Evans...Somewhere between them are Soler, last early escapee.
Ivan Basso passes summit, only 20km of downhill is before him.
Cadel Evans is struggling, he has dropped from his group!
Samuel Sanchez shows his downhill skill,...
...catches Evans...
..and later both catch Menchov with Di Luca.
Ivan Basso celebrates great victory, he´s new Tour leader now!
Sastre is 2nd...
...whilst Contador 3rd.
Sanchez is fastest from chaser´s group and takes 4th place.

Stage 5
Flat stage with 2 small hills in early part of stage, giving chance for Moucheraud to show his polka dot jersey
And Paul have really won both mountain sprints and increased his leading in KOM competition.
Huge breakaway group is caught just before finish. Passeron is in good position for sprint.
Jean Patrick Nazon takes win, Aurelien Passeron is 2nd ahead of Tom Boonen!!! Awesome success for my team, sponsors are again very happy.

Stage flat is mostly flat, but there are several small hills in late part and finish is hilly as well. This could be good chance for puncheurs to succeed.

Does anyone still follow this story? Haven´t seen some comments here for ages...I know this story is closer and closer after each stage to finishing, but...

I'm following it, and you're doing great with Moucherad in TdF. But as you say, now that people know that the story will end, they're just waiting for the new one.
