i'm angry, pictures went down 400m from the line. We didn't see the bloody finish. Shit.

I saw the finish, I thought Necentini celebrated wrongly at foirst but realised he had won. |

Wow, Weening actually rode well. And for once deserved more.
I haven't seen this Weening since 2005. |

I forgot to mention this at the time, but one of the greatest moments in broadcast history occured earlier in the race (I think it was the stage levi attacked). here is how it played out:
Long discussion about the weather
Sherwen: Quotes Levi as saying that the weather is like "going into a shower, turning it to the coldest possible setting, and standing there for four hours"
Ligget: Replies by going "Yes, quite like a James Bond movie"
It was classic, and I assure you it did happen

Dave Zabriskie offered a fine explanation for cavendish's celebration earlier this week, saying that it was in honour of his chamois cream.
“I offered Cavendish a hefty bonus yesterday if he dedicated the win. I don't know if you noticed his victory salute," Zabriskie said after being asked how DZ nuts were holding up. "So I had to give him a large wad of cash and a couple of packs.”

It was, the attacks were flying, Schleck took a huge gap, then was pulled back, finally Roulston, Nocienti, and Weening went free. I concur, it certainly was the most exciting stage of the race so far. |

yeah, the Cole Grade could see some serious action, especially with the limited Astana presence
