Oww your finances are very bad, i dont know how you could save yourself out of this one Frown You still need to win about 300k in 2,5 months.. Maybe you can get a 'loan' (editor Wink ) and then try to pay of your debt in the next season.. ?

Btw i've finished my first season with LA MSS but haven't signed such a good cyclists as you did. I choose to only transfer spanish, portugese and columbian (also spanish speaking Wink ). I got Sevilla, Barbosa, Pecharroman and Martinez Gerolsteiner tried to buy Vicioso for 1.7 M but sadly enough Vicioso didnt want to sign a contract with them .. Too bad cause i wanted to buy Duque and another columbian sprint/climb-talent with the money.

Anyway, my salaries are only 175k so i should be able to keep out of debts with my 2.2 M starting budget.

Good luck in TdF!! And keep up the great story Smile

sorry guys the University Festival has taken a lot of my time. I'm either partying or recovering my hangover that's why I haven't posted anything lately but that's about to change Pfft

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rest Day

Some fresh news about the transfer market are being spread by the media:

An horrible tragedy in deed... T.Machado is leaving our team to join our fiercest rival! Damn it!

Stage 11
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf110.jpg

A day which will most likely start to define the top10

The break of the day with the KoM leader
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf111.jpg

At the Col du Kandel they had more than 7min of advantage!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf112.jpg

There Rodriguéz was the first in the peloton beating Popovych and Barredo
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf113.jpg

On the next climb Cobo won the sprint in the bunch!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf114.jpg

At the Col Wiedener-Eck, penultimate climb of the day the lead group started to perish
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf115.jpg

Nontheless the climb was completed with no major moves until Leipheimer attacked near the summit!!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf116.jpg

In the downhill he happened to gap the bunch by 30''
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf117.jpg

However Astana, Rabobank and ourselves worked to catch the LPR leader
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf118.jpg

The final climb was reached and now it is turn for Contador!!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf119-1.jpg

Andy Schleck followed right after him with Kloden and Anton in his tail!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1110.jpg

Evans was there as well
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1111.jpg

They all caught Leipheimer and were later joined by Soler and Menchov
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1112.jpg

But Contador was already all alone and building a dangerous gap!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1113.jpg

Schleck tries his luck once more
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1114.jpg

...with Evans behind him!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1115.jpg

But none of them is able to get away due to Anton's efforts
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1116.jpg

Meanwhile Contador crossed the top isolated
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1117.jpg

With the pack of 6 pursuing him
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1118.jpg

However the victory seemed guaranteed for the spaniard
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1119.jpg

and a little later that was confirmed! Victory and Yellow Jersey for Alberto Contador!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1120.jpg

A minute later Andy Schleck outsprinted Evans to conquer the 2nd place in the stage while Kloden was 4th

Stage 12
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf120.jpg

Lots of animation during the stage with Wegmann getting away, Gilbert going for the KoM and Astana chasing as usual
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf121.jpg

However the real animation only began at Col du Hundstruck where Astana + Ten Dam train started to push harder
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf122.jpg

Leipheimer was the first to attack taking Soler and Cobo with him
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf123.jpg

Later Efimkin and others tried to follow
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf124.jpg

But only 4 resisted to the pack after the top: Leipheimer, Soler, Cobo and Lopez
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf125.jpg

Nontheless when the climb to the Grand Ballon started they all got caught
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf126.jpg

Menchov was the first to shake things
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf127.jpg

Moncoutié, Efimkin, Evans and Garate went with him
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf128.jpg

But only Evans and Efimkin were able to stay away from the bunch
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf129.jpg

Cobo tried his luck as well
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1210.jpg

And after him Anton, Soler and Leipheimer tried once more reaching Efimkin
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1211.jpg

Just a few later on: Contador!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1212.jpg

Kloden tried to follow but he just couldnt!!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1213.jpg

The gaps started widening while Karpets made an acceleration behind Kloden!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1214.jpg

Contador caught Evans and rode past him!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1215.jpg

But not far there were Andy Schleck and Karpets!!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1216.jpg

And fortunately when entering the last kms Kloden's group didn't look too far away from the leading men
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1217.jpg

However the stage's podium was pratically decided
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1218.jpg

And as expected Contador grabbed the win extending his GC lead!
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1219.jpg

Behind Evans beated Schleck for the 2nd position
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf1220.jpg

Karpets faded away in the last meters finishing with what seemed to be the same time as Kloden

Stage 14
i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/tdf140.jpg

The stage we all were hoping for... or was it?

After waking up in the morning with a terrible night of sleep, with Angelito Vicioso pushing me over and over again I sat down in my bed I started to listen to whatever he was trying to explain:

- Señorito Gustavovskiy! Hurry hurry Andrés is disapeared! Bed is empty! Everybody looking out! Nobody know him where is it!

What the fuck! I went to look out for someone who could speak proper english and who could explain to me what th hell happened. The rest of the staff later told me Kloden had disapeared during the night. Everyone was looking for him but hadn't found him yet...
I went to seek him as well by myself into the french plains when I found some german footpsteps in the floor! I followed the trail and eventually I found a crushed Kloden in his favourite pijamas sitting in a freezer where he probably was carrying some alcohol I thought:

i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv117/sinesioepaminondas/53261816.jpg

- Andreas wtf are you doing here?
- Sir... I... Sir I lost my... *continues crying*
- What? What the fuck did you lose? Your virginity?
- No Sir... worst than that... I lost my teddy bear!
- You WHAT??... *takes a deep breath* Well I promise I'll find your teddy bear if you get back to your room and get ready to race the TT ok?
- But how can I do it without my teddy bear?
- ...you do the best you can son

I was never able to find that fuckin teddy bear... my crushed team leader wouldn't be able to perform at his level I thought...
