Van Poppel is strange all season. Think the update didn't do him good.

Damn strong Polanc in Austria, but closely beaten. He could challenge Herklotz in his dominant future though.
Alaphilippe thereabouts at Le Tour, but not up top yet.

Well, I asked for some TV time and that crash on stage 2 certainly did the trick. At least nobody abandoned and Tao made it back into the peloton, sadly, Ruben lost 4'28''... Fernandismo never dies. Much better the next day, with Dennis van Winden in the breakaway.

Bardet already lost one of his TTT men, not a good start

That is not a thing. Van der Poelism never dies. That's the correct phrase.
However based on VDP's three crashes this season, I think it may be better if he would hang up his wheels. We are really crash prone.

Hehe. But VDP didn't lose any time, Ruben was much more like Landa, losing time before the Tour even starts.

Tour stages 4-6 up!
Spoiler
Kittel almost winning every stage so far: Besides being the best sprinter in the game he also has the strongest support. Bardet decided the first showdown of the favourites for himself. He was quite unlucky that there was no gap given to Quintana who finished ~20 seconds behind him.

The french hope is alive! One of the few wins for Bardet so far, I hope can collect more wins in the future, like D2B mentioned he has been very consistent on 2nd places.
Herrada with a solid showin but losing time early on isn't so good, especially behind inactive mnager's Adam Yates. Also nice 10th place by Navarro, this bodes also well for Vuelta.
VDP already with no chances on white Lazy bastard.

Ruben is now nearly 13 minutes behind, I hope he's not injured and will now go for stage wins, maybe even fight for the polkadots. That makes Tao Hart the protected captain, improving his chances to win the white jersey. I won't write VDP off yet, nor Colombo.

I have absolutely 0 expectations from Tour de France. But I can't be sad after 6 stages. Anacona somehow still with the best, Roosen fighting actively on stages, few breaks. At least it's something! |

@Ollfardh: Oh, I didn't see that. 160th, he must in real pain. Everybody who lost time after the crash on stage 2 has been struggling since, but Goos the most. Which also means...
@dominox: Anacona was one of many riders who could make the top 10, but the field has already thinned out quite significantly, Fernandez, Domont, Goos, VDP, etc. Chances look pretty good right now. But Anacona won't like tomorrow's stage.

Bardet looking lively in the early skirmishes. Hope the team are up to controlling the race.
Kittel dominant in the sprints, we left Cav out to concentrate 100% on GC.
Thanks for the reports Bikex.
Do I put Bardet in my fantasy team as a good luck charm for ICL?

Apart from Ponzi's top 10 on the first stage, the first few stages were absoultely embarrassing with no breaks joined but many minutes lost. Domont's bid for a top 10 is already over before it even began as he seemingly got injured and is well outside the top 100. Ponzi is even further behind and so is either injured too or just enjoying a nice ride around France after his good 1st stage.
Cattaneo and Lang not doing any better with both not even being inside the top 60 in this weak field. I assume they are already saving energy for all out attacks in the mountains or else we are in big trouble.
I can only hope for breakaways in the mountains, eventhough we didn't join any yet, as otherwise the Tour will be a vrtual 0-pointer. Thanks for the results Bikex!
