If you watch the sprint again look at Graeme Brown (for those who havnt already seen his new Hobo look) and notice that he is coming with great speed, had the bender boys from tinkoff not crashed or got in the way , he would have won the stage . Terrible luck for him he went dow twice today. There has been quite a few crashes for just two road race stages

Brown should be banned for winning
And O'Grady isn't going to start tomorrow.
The stage tomorrow i think will suit an attack from Bettini on the last little riser, I know i'll be watching closely

But seriously, 1 stage doesn't make a rider a great sprinter - which is why you can only talk about a great sprinter after several seasons of sustained results in big races
Agreed. Maybe one day Cavendish will win a grand tour stage. Its highly likely that he'll manage it this year, but if he doesn't it'll likely happen one day. It won't be until after a few years we'll know his true potential.
So, why do people feel like they have to prove a point everytime Cav doesn't win - either for or against him?
Can no one seem to accept that he can't win every race? Similarly, people do realise he is only 22 and still learning his trade? Reality check people!
This is strange argument..for Cavedish fans: Why we all need every time scream when he wins ? ..and dont worry he's best years are all a ahead. He will take at least few GT stage wins. After all he is great sprinter. |

Broken collarbone too, so both CSC Australian riders are out with broken collarbones

I don't know why he did that, if he was going to attack and hurt his legs then he should of gone on the climb, now he wasted some energy for the sprint.

Good to see High Road right up at the front. Probably the best way to get Cavendish well positioned
