Anyone knows why Costa got 4th place and not the 2nd or 3rd? Porte is a beast in time-trial, especially in a mountain time-trial.
He got 4th because 3 other riders finished ahead of him
Hells 500 Crew and 6 x Everester
Don Rd Launching Place
Melbourne Hill Rd Warrandyte
Colby Drive Belgrave South
William Rd The Patch
David Hill Rd Monbulk

P.S. I felt bad for Gallopin but honestly, TT is not his thing for real
You're wrong he his a good TTist but the problem is that it was not a flat TT it was a TT for climbers and Gallopin isn't a climber so it was pretty obvious he would lost the GC leader.
He is not a bad TT-ist, actually. Maybe he didn't recover well from the day before. He spent a great amount of effort there. I think only top GT riders (e.g. Contador, Nibali, Quintana) are able to do big attacks and be fully recovered (more or less) the day after.
In a post stage interview he said he felt very well recovered from the previous day but from the first pedal stroke he knew he was on a bad day - there was nothing there for whatever reason. He was struggling to explain, clearly gutted and had been hopeful of a podium spot and even dreamed of the win being possible.
Hopefully, with the benefit of hindsight, he'll look back and remember the solid climbing and wonderful stage win above and beyond the disappointing TT.

He's skipping the cobbles this year then? Well, you can't lead the team everywhere, but I don't see Roelandts doing it for them. With Wellens and Vanendert for Ardennes, I was expecting Gallopin to do the cobbles, but of course this Paris-Nice changed a lot.
